Ocelot , also known as Shalashaska and whose real name is Adamska , is a fictional character of the Metal Gear series. He was originally introduced... in Metal Gear Solid as a gunslinger-themed member of FOXHOUND from the former Soviet Union under the full codename of Revolver Ocelot and is revealed to be an agent for The Patriots in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty . He appears in the prequels Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops as a young Spetsnaz Major, where he is identified simply as Ocelot, and eventually becomes Liquid Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots .

Liquid Snake is a recurring antagonist in Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear series. Liquid Snake is introduced in Metal Gear Solid as the main antagonist.... He is the twin brother of Snake and second of the three cloned Sons of Big Boss produced by the Les Enfant Terribles Project conducted in early 1970s and which were successfully born in 1972. Liquid joined the British SAS and served in the first Iraq War as a teenager at the same time that Solid Snake was serving as an infantry man for the Green Berets, though neither of the two met during this period. In 1991 Liquid was assigned to work as a sleeper agent and destroy enemy rocket installations, but was found out and held captive as a POW until 1994 when he was finally rescued. Eventually in the year 2000 Liquid became the commanding officer of the FOXHOUND Unit, coincidentally right directly after Solid Snake had gone into retirement. Liquid Snake is introduced in Metal Gear Solid as the main antagonist. He is the twin brother of Solid Snake and the second of Big Boss' clones.
