The Suffolk Resolves House is the building where the Suffolk Resolves were signed on September 4, 1774. The Resolves were an important predecessor... document to the Declaration of Independence. At that time, it was owned by Daniel Vose, who at his marriage had combined two existing buildings to make one house. The two parts are shown in the two gallery photographs. To prevent its demolition in 1950, Dr. and Mrs. James Bourne Ayer moved it from its original location on Adams Street to its present location. They had it restored by William Morris Hunt and later gave it to the Milton Historical Society, for which it serves as headquarters. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 23, 1973, reference number 73000308.

The Refreshment Pavilion is a historic refreshment stand at Houghton's Pond in Milton, Massachusetts. It was designed by the firm of Stickney and... Austin who also designed four other NRHP structures in the Blue Hills Reservation: as well as two non-NRHP buildings It was built in 1920 and added to the National Register of Historic Places as Refreshment Pavillion on September 25, 1980, reference number 80000659. It is still in use as a refreshment stand.

Old Barn is a historic barn off of Blue Hill River Road in Canton, Massachusetts. It was built in 1690 and is the oldest building on Brookwood Farm.... It is currently undergoing a major restoration undertaken by the North Bennet Street School. They have removed the oldest 20-by-20-foot section for major work to repair rot and insect damage. It is expected to be returned to the site in 2010 or 2011. All of the photographs here are of the portions of the barn built after the original barn. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as Old Barn on September 25, 1980, reference number 80000660.

Casper Robert Van Dien, Jr. is an American actor. Van Dien was born and grew up in Milton, Florida, the son of Diane , a nursery school teacher, and... Casper Robert Van Dien, Sr., a U.S. Navy Commander and fighter pilot. There is a long military tradition in Van Dien's family. Aside from his father, his grandfather was a Marine during World War II. Van Dien is a descendant of an old Dutch family long settled in the New York area; his other heritage includes Swedish, French, English and Native American. The street on which Van Dien grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Van Dien Avenue, was named after his great great grandfather. In high school, Van Dien was often referred to as "Ken doll" due to his good looks, and got into many fights for that reason. Later he was described as a "perfect life-sized Ken doll." When Van Dien was older, his family moved to Florida, where he enrolled at the St. Petersburg campus of the Admiral Farragut Academy, graduating 3rd in command. Next, he went to Florida State University in Tallahassee. Moving to Los Angeles, Van Dien landed a number of small parts in various television series and movies.

Ken Casey is the bass guitarist and a vocalist of the Boston Celtic punk group Dropkick Murphys. Casey was one of the original members, starting it... in 1996 with Rick Barton and Mike McColgan. He is the only original member of the Dropkick Murphys left in the band, though drummer Matt Kelly joined shortly after formation in 1997. He is known for his melodic vocal parts and solid punk rock bass playing. Casey currently lives in Hingham, Massachusetts with his family and was raised in Milton, Massachusetts. The Dropkick Murphys song "Boys on the Docks" is dedicated to Ken Casey's grandfather John Kelly, a union worker in the middle of the 20th century. Ken is also the owner of a bar in the Back Bay of Boston near Fenway, McGreevy's Third Base Saloon. It's dedicated to the memory of the founder of the Royal Rooters, "'Nuf Ced" Michael T. McGreevy. It is located at 911 Boylston Street, Boston MA.

Brian Camelio is an American musician, guitarist, composer, producer, and founder of ArtistShare. Camelio is considered one of the fathers of... crowdfunding and potentially "a post-modern Ahmet Ertegun" according to Bloomberg News. In 2005, he was the subject of an essay entitled "The One Thing You Can't Download" in The Big Moo: Stop Trying to be Perfect and Start Being Remarkable edited by business writer Seth Godin. He has been a speaker or panelist at the Judge Business School at Cambridge University, Midem, The Grammy Foundation at NARAS, ASCAP, NYU Law School, Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, The Songwriters hall of fame and The Future of Music Coalition. He is a member of the core faculty of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and has been a columnist for All About Jazz since 2010. Camelio, who grew up in Boston, began his music career at the age of 9 and continued to pursue music at Clark University as a composition major. After finishing his music degree at the University of Vermont with a concentration in orchestral composition, he spent 15 years as a professional touring musician, composer and producer according to Celebrity Access.

Jenny Slate is an American actress, comedienne, and author best known for her series of Marcel the Shell With Shoes On childrens books and short... films. She is also known for her time as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2009–2010 and her recurring role as Stella on the HBO comedy Bored to Death. Slate was born in Milton, Massachusetts to parents Nancy Slate and Ron Slate, a Massachusetts-based poet and author. She has two sisters, Abigail and Stacey, After graduating from Milton Academy as the valedictorian, she attended Columbia University, where she helped form the improv group Fruit Paunch, and starred in the Varsity Show. Slate graduated from Columbia University in 2004. Alongside comedian Gabe Liedman, Slate is half of the comedy duo Gabe & Jenny. Their show with Max Silvestri, Big Terrific, was named best new variety show of 2008 by Time Out New York. She met Liedman in 2000 while attending Columbia University. They describe their relationship as a "nonsexual romance", and Slate says "I like to think of us as kind of like Elaine Benes and George Costanza, but we like each other.
