Dynama Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Minsk, Belarus. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Dynama... Minsk. The stadium has a seating capacity for 40,000 people. Dynama Stadium was constructed in 1934, but was destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in 1954. The stadium was one of the venues of the football tournament at the 1980 Summer Olympics and was used as the home venue of BATE Borisov for the 2008–09 UEFA Champions League group stage and 2011–12 UEFA Champions League play-off round.

Chyzhouka-Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in Minsk, Belarus that will start construction in July 2009. It will be used mostly for concerts, ice... hockey and other indoor sporting events. The arena will have a capacity of ~8,500 people. It is listed as one of two main venues for the 2014 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships. The project of Chizhovka-Arena was changed several times. The final project was approved at July, 2010. Chizhovka-Arena is not built yet. Currently it's planned to be finished in 2012 or later.

The Traktar Stadium, formerly known as Stadium of the VSS Red Banner , is the second largest multi-purpose stadium in Belarus. It was built as part... of the citywide plan to create sport complex areas in every new suburb of Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic capital and to accommodate rapidly growing Minsk population . Traktar Stadium was designed in 1966-1967 by well-known soviet architects V. Min'kin and v. Sadykov from Minsk Architecture and Design Institute. Initial plan included building athletic complex "Krasnoe Znamya" and was never completed. The stadium was reconstructed right before the 1980 Summer Olympics and served as a backup ground for the Dinamo Stadium. Second reconstruction started in 1997 and included minor changes, along with installation of the fence and plastic seats to satisfy UEFA new standards. New history of stadium began in 2005. Owner of football club MTZ-RIPO Minsk Vladimir Romanov met with the president of Republic of Belarus and discussed the possibilities of Traktar stadium expansion.

Dinamo-Yuni Stadium is a football stadium in Minsk, Belarus. It is currently used for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Dinamo Minsk.... The stadium holds 4,500 people and was opened in 2000. Until 2008 the stadium was named Darida Stadium and was a home ground for FC Darida Minsk Raion. After the team's dissolution in late 2008 the stadium was bought by Dinamo Minsk and renamed to its current name, Dinamo-Yuni Stadium.

Dimitry Elyashkevich is a producer and camera operator of the MTV series of Jackass and Wildboyz. He was born on February 23, 1975 in Minsk, Soviet... Union . Dimitry has also cameoed in the series and movies, most notably the Gumball 3000 rally special as their Russian Interpreter, as well as being part of the "Terror Taxi" skit in Jackass Number Two. Elyashkevich has also worked with Steve-O in his Don't Try This At Home tour. He was the voice of the exhale in the "Dickhouse" logo at the beginning of Jackass Number Two. Dimitry revealed this in the DVD commentary for the film. Dimitry currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, where he grew up. On an episode of Radio Bam, Bam stated that Dimitry has a gambling problem. On a trip to Las Vegas, the jackass crew all took away his money as a joke so that he couldnt gamble that night, and it was said that Dimitry did not sleep that whole night until he got a hold of the money to go gamble. Dimitry directed the 2009 documentary film "Demise and Rise of Steve-O".

Alexandra "Sasha" Zaretsky is an Israeli ice dancer. She competed with her brother Roman Zaretsky. Together, they are three-time Israeli National... Champions and two-time Olympic competitors. Alexandra Zaretsky was born in Minsk, Belarus SSR, Soviet Union. Originally from Minsk, the Zaretsky family was Jewish and made aliyah soon after this was made possible. Alexandra, who was three years old at the time, was raised in Metula, Israel where her parents work as coaches. Alexandra Zaretsky speaks fluent Hebrew, Russian, and English. In October 2008 the Zaretskys and their coach Galit Chait filed a lawsuit against the Ice House training rink in Hackensack, New Jersey, alleging that rink officials discriminated against them on the basis of their Israeli nationality by denying them prime training time and threatening to ban them from the rink. Alexandra Zaretsky began skating at the age of 6, after starting out in rhythmic gymnastics. She originally skated as a single skater, winning age group medals.

It was a song with a fast tempo and energetic dancing. He wrote this song himself. He was the second winner of this contest from Belarus, after Ksenia Sitnik .

Max Mirnyi is a professional tennis player from Belarus. Today Mirnyi is a doubles specialist, but he also enjoyed a good singles career, finishing... in the top 50 in the world for seven straight years, as well as representing Belarus in Davis Cup competition since April 1994, where he holds a record of 47 wins and 27 losses in 35 ties played. He holds eight Grand Slam titles: men's doubles in the 2000 and 2002 US Open and in the 2005, 2006 and 2011 French Open; and mixed doubles in the 1998 and 2007 U.S. Opens and 1998 Wimbledon. He earned the nickname "The Beast" during his time on tour. Mirnyi has played with a host of doubles partners, namely forming long-term partnerships with Mahesh Bhupathi, Jonas Björkman, Lleyton Hewitt, Jamie Murray, Andy Ram, and Daniel Nestor, and short-term partnerships with other top competitors on the doubles tour. In 2003 he reached the doubles final at Wimbledon. On 9 June 2003, he reached no. 1 in the ATP Doubles Rankings. In singles, he achieved his career-high ranking of world no. 18 in August 2003.

Andrei Valeryevich Arlovski is a Belarusian kickboxer, mixed martial artist and a former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion. He... holds notable wins over Fabricio Werdum, Roy Nelson, Ben Rothwell, Tim Sylvia and Vladimir Matyushenko. Arlovski was born in Bobruisk and raised in Minsk, in the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic of the former USSR . When he was younger, bullies often picked on him and beat him up. In 1994, when he was 14 years old, he finally had enough and started lifting weights to put on muscle and, he hoped, to help him deal with these bullies. Andrei only took up martial arts at the age of 16 having previously been interested in football. It was an interest in personal fitness and conditioning that led Arlovski to take an interest in combat sports.

Fyodor Ignatievich Stravinsky , 20 June [O.S. 8 June] 1843 – 4 December [O.S. 21 November] 1902 was a Russian bass... opera singer and actor. He was the father of Igor Stravinsky and the grandfather of Soulima Stravinsky. His father Ignace was a Catholic and came from a noble Polish family of Stravinsky-Soulima; his mother, Alexandra Ivanovna Skorokhodova, was a daughter of a Russian small landowner. Fyodor was baptised in accordance with the Orthodox rite due to Imperial Law which stated that children born of mixed Catholic-Orthodox marriages had to be brought up in the Russian Orthodox faith. In 1869 he completed his education at the Nizhyn Lyceum, where he sang in the church choir. He studied voice at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory from 1869–73. He later studied with Camille Everardi in Kiev. Stravinsky started his solo singing career in Kiev before moving to Saint Petersburg, where he sang at the Mariinsky Theatre for 26 years, from 1876 to 1902. He was hailed as the successor to Osip Petrov, he was renowned for his outstanding dramatic talent as an actor, and he was considered the leading bass at the Imperial Opera.

Ruslan Alekhno is a Belarussian singer who rose to popularity after winning Narodniy Artist 2 , the Russian version of Pop Idol. In 2001, Ruslan... Alekhno was the winner of Belarussian TV project Hit-Moment, and in 2003 he was the winner in "Clear Voice" nomination at the "Crossroads of Europe Festival" in Belarus and was also the laureate of "Molodechno-2003" vocal contest in Belarus. In 2004, he also won the second prize in the International Malvy Festival in Poland. In 2005, together with Aleksey Goman , winner of Narodni Artist-1, he was the prize winner of Festival of Patriotic songs with "This is my Homeland" devoted to Victory anniversary. Ruslan Alekhno won the Russian TV-project Narodni Artist-2 . It gave him the possibility to access a wider audience. Upon his victory, he released his first studio album Rano Ili Pozdno in 2005.

Victor Dmitrievich Smolski is a Belarusian musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist. He is a constant member of the German heavy metal band... Rage. Son of professor Dmitry Smolski, a symphonic music composer. Victor was six years old when he began studying the piano, cello and later guitar. Smolski was awarded diplomas on playing rock and jazz guitar as well as on composing and arranging music. His first professional work was playing with the famous Belarusian folk band Pesniary when he was 14 years old. In 1988 he founded the band Inspector and they toured over Germany for the first time. Frank Bornemann was very interested in the band and offered a contract to Inspector. Due to visa problems, the tour became complicated, but even then Inspector played many shows in Germany. In 1993 they released their CD, Russian Prayer . In 1993, Smolski decided to stay in Germany. He worked as a studio musician and produced his EP Destiny in 1996. In 1995, Smolski joined the progmetal band Mind Odyssey, who were soon successful.
