Bonnie Bartlett is an American television and film actress. Her career spans over 50 years, with her first major role being on a 1950s daytime... drama, Love of Life. She is best known for her role as Ellen Craig on the medical drama series St. Elsewhere. She and her husband, actor William Daniels, who played her fictional husband Dr. Mark Craig, won 1986 Emmy Awards on the same night, becoming the first married couple to accomplish the feat since Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in 1965. Bartlett was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, the daughter of Carrie and E.E. Bartlett, and raised in Moline, Illinois. Her father was an insurance salesman and a failed actor, and she was determined to live out his dream. Bartlett met her husband, actor William Daniels at Northwestern University. They were married on June 30, 1951. In 1961, she gave birth to a son, who died just 24 hours later. They later adopted two children: Michael, who became an assistant director and stage manager in Los Angeles, and Robert, who became an artist and computer graphics designer based in New York City.

Edwin W. Reimers , known as Ed Reimers, was an American actor active during the 1950s and 1960s, who also served as the stentorian-voiced announcer... for such early Warner Brothers television series as Cheyenne and Maverick: "From the entertainment capital of the world, this is a Warner Brothers television presentation". Then he would recite the title and cast: "Maverick! Starring Jack Kelly and Roger Moore!" He narrated several episodes of the first Brian Keith series, Crusader, which aired on CBS from 1955 to 1956. Reimers was also the original announcer for Do You Trust Your Wife? when Edgar Bergen hosted, but was replaced by Bob LeMond in the fall of 1956. He appeared as Admiral Fitzpatrick in 1967 in the Star Trek episode "The Trouble with Tribbles". Reimers is perhaps best known, though, as spokesman for the Allstate Corporation in their long-running series of television commercials in the United States, advising viewers that they were "in good hands with Allstate." Reimers was the TV spokesman for Allstate for 22 years, from 1957 until 1979.

Dorothy Van was an American stage and TV actress who is best remembered for her comedic role as Aunt Effie Harper on the 1980s situation comedy... Mama's Family. She was born Dorothy Helene Vanberryl in Moline, Illinois the daughter of a German father Elmer J. Van, a post office worker, and Emeline Franks Van, a devoted mother and housewife. As a little girl living the "small town life" during the Great Depression she often spent her time at the local movie house watching films containing the stars of the day; Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, Jean Harlow, Fred Astaire, and Cary Grant. Her favorite actresses during this time were Irene Dunne, Loretta Young, and Bette Davis and she had even had a girlhood crush on Joel McCrea. Aside from film watching she enjoyed reading, writing, painting, and she was devot Methodist who was active in the Sunday School at her church; the Christ United Methodist Church. She was a 1946 graduate of Moline Senior High School. Prior to her graduation her father suggested that she enroll in secretarial school and upon completion to find a husband and settle down.

He also appeared on Broadway in The Billy Barnes Review, has headlined as George M Cohan in the musical George M and provided comic relief for the medical drama Dr. Kildare, with Richard Chamberlain in the 1960s. Berry was born in Moline, Illinois, one of two children to accountant Darrell and his wife, Bernice. His older sister, Dona Rae, rounded out the family. He is of Swedish-English decent. Berry realized he wanted to be a dancer and singer at the age of 12, as he watched a kids’ dance performance during a school assembly.

Doris Davenport, also known as Doris Jordan was an American film actress during the 1930s and early 1940s. Davenport was born in Moline, Illinois,... but raised in Hollywood, California. She started auditioning for acting roles, and performed in her first film in 1934, titled Kids Millions. From 1934 to 1939, she would appear in only five films, supporting herself by working in New York City as a fashion model between films. However, when she auditioned under the screen name "Doris Jordan" for the role of "Scarlett O'Hara", the lead role in the now classic Gone with the Wind, she did well enough to become one of the finalists for the role, but lost out to actress Vivien Leigh. Despite not winning that major role, Davenport impressed "MGM" executive Samuel Goldwyn. In 1940, he gave a lead role to Davenport in the film The Westerner, starring opposite Gary Cooper and Walter Brennan. That same year she starred in the film Behind the News opposite Lloyd Nolan. It would be her last role. With no other offers following that film, she soon retired from acting.
