Moment by Moment is a 1978 film starring John Travolta and Lily Tomlin. The film was written and directed by Jane Wagner. It tells the story of a romance between a young drifter named Strip Harrison and an older wealthy woman, Trish Rawlings . This movie was wholly panned by critics and moviegoers alike and has never been released on home video in any medium, but a high-definition video master, suitable for a DVD and/or HD-DVD release, exists and has been broadcast on Universal HD. Moment by Moment remains a "camp classic," with a reputation sufficient to have prompted the Mystery Science... Theater 3000 producers to try to obtain the rights necessary to broadcast it and mock it on their show. The film grossed $10,963,824 in the United States. Despite the film's poor reputation, its title song was a considerable hit for singer Yvonne Elliman in 1979.
