4.00 4/5.0
Pros:

Cons:
Very much of the material sounds the same; there is little sunshine among the blackness

Review: Mikhail says that Chan Marshall will take you to places you have never been before. Dark, cavernous places teeming with fallen souls. This is glorious.

Pros:
A book of repents and self-medicated laments.
Cons:
"Can't you see that we're going to Hell"

Review: The exaggerated slo-mo stylings, bare-bones instrumentation and strange scraggly drawl-singing are what kept me listening.

Pros:
Some very good songs...
Cons:
Some very monotonous and for that matter even bad songs...

Review: While I enjoy some tracks ( American Flag and Colors and the Kids ) a good deal, Cat Power's album Moon Pix is overall very forgettable.
