Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium is a stadium in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field... of the Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders. It also serves as the stadium for the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association's State High School Football Championships. It previously served as the home stadium for Riverdale and Oakland high schools, for a long period when those schools did not have stadiums. It later was the home stadium for Siegel High for a short period, when construction for a stadium was delayed. Floyd Stadium opened in 1933 and seats 31,000 people. The record attendance for the stadium was set on September 10, 2011 against Georgia Tech at 30,502. Located on the northwest section of campus, the stadium was originally known as Horace Jones Field when it opened on October 14, 1933 with a scoreless tie against Jacksonville State Teachers College .

Oaklands Historic House Museum is in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA. Oaklands Mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a local... landmark known for its unique Italianate design. The plantation was caught in the middle of the Civil War and officers from both the Confederate and Union armies stayed in the mansion. The most notable visitor to the home was Confederate President Jefferson Davis who stayed at Oaklands in December 1862. The mansion was abandoned, vandalized, left in disrepair and almost torn down by the city of Murfreesboro. However, the mansion was restored to its original grandeur by a group of ladies who rallied together to form the Oaklands Association. The home was opened to the public as a museum in the early 1960s. Today thousands of visitors from all over the world view the mansion and grounds each year.

Christopher Alan "Chris" Young is an American country music artist. In 2006, he was declared the winner of the television program Nashville Star, a... singing competition which aired on the USA Network. After winning, he was signed to RCA Records Nashville, releasing his self-titled debut album that year. It produced two chart singles on the Hot Country Songs charts in "Drinkin' Me Lonely" and "You're Gonna Love Me". A second album, The Man I Want to Be, was released September 1, 2009. It includes the singles "Voices", "Gettin' You Home ", and "The Man I Want to Be"; all three have reached Number One on the country singles chart. To date Chris has scored four straight number one hits including most recently "Tomorrow" off his Neon album. Young was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on June 12, 1985. His grandfather, Richard Yates, was a performer on the Louisiana Hayride. From a young age, Young showed interest in music while performing in various children's theater productions, and while attending Oakland High School , he began playing in local clubs.
