My Cousin Rachel is a 1952 mystery-romance film directed by Henry Koster and starred Olivia de Havilland, Richard Burton, Audrey Dalton, Ronald Squire, George Dolenz and John Sutton. The film is based on the novel by Daphne du Maurier. When Philip Ashley's much-loved cousin Ambrose dies, he is convinced that Ambrose was murdered by his new wife Rachel to inherit his wealth. But when he meets Rachel and falls in love with her, he knows that his suspicions must have been unfounded. But were they, or is Rachel just trying to use Philip to get at the estate Ambrose left to him instead of her?... And will she murder him next? A DVD featuring an isolated score as a supplement was released by niche label Twilight Time in September 2011, limited to 3000 units and available exclusively from online retailer ScreenArchives.com.
