Nagarahaavu is a 1972 Kannada film by Puttanna Kanagal starring Vishnuvardhan, Aarathi, K. S. Ashwath. It was the first movie in Kannada Film history to Complete 100 days in 3 Main theaters of Bangalore. The movie was based on three novels written by TaRaSu. This was the film that launched Vishnuvardhan and gave a tremendous boost to his nascent movie career.
