The Nashua Public Library moved to a new building in 1971. The building is now owned by the city and is available for rent for functions.

Michael Edward "Mike" O'Malley is an American actor and television writer who has appeared in films and television series. He hosted Nickelodeon... GUTS and Get the Picture, and he starred in the CBS comedy Yes, Dear. Prior to Yes Dear, he had a short-lived, self-named sitcom on NBC called The Mike O'Malley Show, in which he co-starred with his sister Kerry O'Malley, and also played the central character of short-lived WB sitcom Life with Roger. As of 2012, O'Malley has a recurring role on NBC's Parenthood, as well as a recurring role as Burt Hummel on the FOX musical comedy Glee. He is also a consulting producer and writer on the Showtime dramedy Shameless. His first break came as the host of Nickelodeon children's game shows Get the Picture and Nickelodeon GUTS . O'Malley starred in Life with Roger, a series which aired from 1996 to 1997. In 1999, two episodes of The Mike O'Malley Show aired before the show was canceled; thirteen episodes were filmed. During the 1990s, he also appeared as "The Rick", a popular character in a series of ads for the ESPN network. Beginning in 2000, O'Malley starred as Jimmy Hughes on the CBS Comedy Yes, Dear.

Walter Huntley Long was an American character actor in films from the 1910s. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire. He appeared in many D. W.... Griffith films, notably The Birth of a Nation , where he appeared as Gus, an African American, in blackface make-up, and Intolerance . In 1915, Long wrote a black-face minstrel play, "Dat Famous Chicken Debate," in which representatives of the "University of Africa" and "Bookertea College" carry on a mangled language debate over whether it should be considered a crime for a black person to steal a chicken. The debate, a thinly disguised parody of one going on between Booker T. Washington and W. E. B. Du Bois, ends up with a warning that blacks who don't respect the white man's laws risk being lynched. Long also supported Rudolph Valentino in three of his films of the early 1920s but is now best remembered for his roles in several Laurel and Hardy films in the 1930s as a comic villain. Long died of a heart attack on July 4, 1952 in Los Angeles, California. Early in his film career, Long married Luray Huntley, one of the actresses working in D.W. Griffith's stock company.

Theodore "Ted" Arcidi is an American former professional wrestler, actor and powerlifter. The son of a nurse and doctor and one of seven children,... Ted was born in Buffalo, New York, and took a different route from the family's academia tradition. He left Tufts University dental school to pursue the sport of powerlifting. When Ted graduated high school, he claims to have weighed in at 165lbs. As he put it, "I was not born big". Arcidi lifted for several years and eventually was sought by and debuted in Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation in late 1985. Arcidi faced other "strongmen" such as Big John Studd and Hercules Hernandez during his stint and made a single appearance at WrestleMania 2 in the WWF/NFL Battle Royal. He was released upon the return of Ken Patera as Vince McMahon did not want to have issues with having two men billed as the "World's Strongest Man". Although his tenure was brief, Arcidi did have an action figure produced by LJN for their Wrestling Superstars toy line, long after Arcidi was gone from the company.

Till the Sun Turns Black, Gossip in the Grain and God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise. He was born in New Hampshire and was inspired to create music after hearing an album by Stephen Stills. Critics have compared LaMontagne's music to The Band, Van Morrison, Nick Drake, and Tim Buckley. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two children. LaMontagne was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, in 1973. Despite his father's background in music, LaMontagne avoided the activity and spent time reading fantasy novels in the forest. He spent time in several different states in his youth. In his early teens he lived in Morgan, Utah, a small rural town of 2000 people. He was known for being a aloof, and indifferent to his education. He was much more interested in drawing images of Dungeons and Dragons than he was in his school work. He was well liked, and revered as somewhat of a mild nuisance. After graduating from high school, LaMontagne moved to Lewiston, Maine and found work in a shoe factory.

Jared Nathan was an American child actor from Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. He starred on the first season of the revival of the PBS Kids... television show ZOOM. He died in a car accident in 2006. Nathan was the only child of Dr. Jeffrey Nathan and June Nathan. Raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, he began performing on stage as a child with local groups such as Junior Actorsingers and the Peacock Players. He appeared in a Papa Gino's commercial at age 12. Nathan was a star of the first season of the newer version of ZOOM on PBS. He co-starred with Zoe Costello, Keiko Yoshida, Pablo Velez, Alisa Besher, David Toropov, and Lynese Browder. He left after one season because of his age. After his death, Zoom executive producer Kate Taylor said, "If he hadn't entered adolescence, we would have loved to have had him back for additional seasons." Nathan attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua for two years before switching to the arts-oriented Walnut Hill School in Natick, Massachusetts.

Paul Michael Levesque is an American professional wrestler, wrestling executive, and actor better known by his ring name Triple H, an abbreviation... of the ring name, Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Currently, Levesque works in the front office of WWE as the Executive Vice President of Talent, and as Triple H appears on television as the Chief Operations Officer, and part-time wrestler. Levesque began his wrestling career in the International Wrestling Federation as Terra Ryzing before joining World Championship Wrestling in 1994. After briefly using the Ryzing name, he changed his character to Jean-Paul Lévesque, a French-Canadian aristocrat which would be similar to his character Hunter Hearst Helmsley, that he used in his early years with the World Wrestling Federation from 1995 onward. He later abbreviated his name to Triple H and adopted an alternative image in the D-Generation X stable. After the dissolution of DX, Triple H was pushed as a main event wrestler, winning several singles championships. As part of a storyline Triple H married Stephanie McMahon, who later became his real-life spouse.

Randolph Clarke "Randy" Harrison is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Justin Taylor on the Showtime drama Queer as Folk. Harrison... was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, but moved to Alpharetta, Georgia with his family at age eleven. He attended Pace Academy, a private prep school in Atlanta. His father is an executive with a large paper company, while he has described his mother as a "thwarted artist." His only sibling, an older brother, is a bank manager. Harrison attended the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music , where he ultimately received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre. During his time at CCM, Harrison starred in university productions, such as Hello Again, Shopping and Fucking, and Children of Eden. Brendan James is an American, piano-based singer/songwriter from Derry, New Hampshire. James spent his early music career playing at New York City... open mics before he signed to Capitol Records in 2005. At Capitol he spent a year and a half recording his debut album, but was dropped before its release during the Capitol Records/Virgin Records merger in 2007. After leaving Capitol, he self-produced and released an EP, The Ballroom Break-in. He signed to Decca Records in 2008 and has released two studio albums with the label. His debut album, The Day is Brave, was released in 2008, while his self-titled sophomore album, Brendan James, came out in 2010. He has toured nationally to support the albums, including tours with artists such as Jason Reeves, John Mayer, Matt White, and Amber Rubarth. James was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on July 17, 1979, to parents Patricia and Randy, and is of Irish and German descent. He moved to Derry, New Hampshire when he was four and, after the divorce of his parents, alternated living between Derry and nearby Manchester, New Hampshire.
