New Canaan

The Noyes House is an historic home in New Canaan, Connecticut. Designed in the International style of architecture by Eliot Noyes and built in 1955... by Borglum & Meek of Wilton, Connecticut. It was the second New Canaan house that Noyes designed for his own family to live in. The first one no longer exists. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. Included in the NRHP listing are two contributing buildings and two other contributing structures.

The Richard and Geraldine Hodgson House in New Canaan, Connecticut is an International Style house that was built in 1951. It was designed by Philip... C. Johnson and Landis Gores. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It is significant as an example of International Style architecture and for it being designed by prominent architect Johnson. It was designed in 1950-1951 and was built in two phases in 1950 and in 1955. It is U-shaped and has a garden court. The house is "simple without being stark or cold". Gores was a partner in design for this house, but Johnson and Gores' partnership broke up soon after this house, reportedly as Johnson was not interested in Gores' ideas for this house, according to a biographer. There are two contributing buildings on 5 acres included in the NRHP listing.

The Hanford Davenport House, also known as the Davenport-Green House, was built in 1820. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in... 1989. The NRHP listings included two contributing buildings, the house and the accompanying barn. The house is significant as a fine example of Federal architecture and features especially high quality Adamesque carving in its interior.

Heigl has established herself as a cover model appearing on numerous publications including Maxim, Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan. Heigl is married to singer Josh Kelley, with whom she has two daughters. Heigl was born in Washington, D.C., at Columbia Hospital for Women.
