Featuring a full NFL license for authentic uniforms, team rosters, and logos, NFL GameDay 2001 marks the franchise's first appearance on the PlayStation 2 console. Incorporating more than 1000 motion-captured maneuvers and 60 frames-per-second animations, GameDay 2001 also boasts an enhanced Total Control Passing feature, a new physics engine for tackles, and authentic NFL playbooks that have been designed by nearly 50 professional athletes. Dick Enberg and Phin Simms return to provide broadened commentary as well, and an enhanced General Manager mode gives players plenty of flexibility to shape the perfect franchise. Users can even import data from GameBreaker 2001 to graduate their players to the professional ranks.
