Edward Lodewijk "Eddie" Van Halen is a Dutch-born American guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter and producer. He is best known as the lead guitarist... and co-founder of the eponymous hard rock band Van Halen. Allmusic described him as "Second to only Jimi Hendrix undoubtedly one of the most influential, original, and talented rock guitarists of the 20th century." He is ranked 8th in Rolling Stone's 2011 list of the Top 100 guitarists. Born in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, Edward Lodewijk van Halen is a son of clarinetist, saxophonist and pianist father Jan van Halen and mother Eugenia. Eugenia van Halen was originally from Indonesia which was a former Dutch colony. Eugenia was half Dutch and half Indonesian. Edward's middle name "Lodewijk" was derived from composer Ludwig van Beethoven . Edward continued this naming tradition by naming his son Wolfgang Van Halen after composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.. In February 1962, at the age of seven, Edward moved with his family to the United States, settling in Pasadena, California. Van Halen and his older brother Alex learned to play the piano as children.

Daphne Muriël Deckers is a Dutch model, host, writer and occasional actress. Deckers began her career as a model. Later, she also did a few... acting jobs, notably in the James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies. In 1999, she co-presented the first series of Big Brother. Currently, she writes children's books and books about family life and related subjects. Deckers married former tennis player Richard Krajicek on July 7, 1999. They have two children. In 2007, she became the host of Holland's Next Top Model. She will also host its international spin-off, Benelux' Next Top Model. She was a guest judge on America's Next Top Model, Cycle 11, when the contestants visited Amsterdam. She will also be guest starring on Glee in the fourth episode of season 3 as Brittany Pierce's mother Aafke Pierce.

Panda is the stage name of Peter Altarbor , a Dutch electronic music artist living in Amsterdam, specializing in Drum and Bass. He gained an... interest in electronic music in his teenage years. He was inspired to write electronic music after seeing a live performance by an electronic music act in his birthplace Nijmegen. Panda’s tracks have been aired on all premier drum & bass radio stations including BBC Radio 1 and many major drum & bass performers have played Panda’s music in clubs. In addition to music production, Panda operates a Drum N Bass TV channel on YouTube with guest mixes by major drum & bass artists like Sub Focus. Panda previously released on the experimental jungle label Exegene Records and Foundname Records under the stage name of Peet. Panda released his debut album Retake Manhattan in 2008. It is a concept album themed around the 400-year anniversary of the discovery of New York by the Dutch. It features 14 tracks which represent a fictitious journey around the world.

Frank Boeijen is a Dutch singer and guitarist. His best known songs are Kronenburg Park about a prostitute, Zwart Wit about the racial murder of... Kerwin Duinmeijer in Amsterdam and Twee gezichten about a split personality. Having been in the music business for 25 years, he received the Edison award for his career achievements in 2005. Boeijen released his first album in 1979, a joint effort with Wout Pennings produced by singer Rob de Nijs. From 1980 onwards he fronted the Frank Boeijen Groep; they released their self-titled debut album in 1981 to critical acclaim . The breakthrough came in 1983 with the album 1001 Hotel, featuring the Motown-inspired singles Het antwoord en Linda; the latter reached top 10. 1984 began with the release of Zwart Wit, originally intended to chronicle a white Romeo/black Juliet-relationship it became a statement against the racist murder of Kerwin Duinmeijer. 1985's Foto van een mooie dag had Kronenburg Park as its second single, assisted by the voices of R&B girl group Mai Tai.

Maud Mulder is a Dutch singer who rose to popularity after placing second in Idols Netherlands 2, the Dutch version of Pop Idol, shown by RTL 4. She... is also a professional field hockey player with hoofdklasse side NMHC Nijmegen. On 12 March 2006, Mulder participated in the national Dutch Song Contest finals. However, the jury considered the three songs she performed to be without any potential for the Eurovision, since they were like many of The Netherlands' previous entries. Apart from that, her vocal performances were weak due to an inflammation of the throat. Maud became third out of three, only just beat by rock band Behave. Female drum-group Treble won with a large share of the televotes the ticket to Athens.

Eltjo Haselhoff is a Dutch 'fingerstyle' guitarist and composer. He has played guitar since he was 8 years old, but has never had one single guitar... lesson. He does not read or write music. He also plays several other musical instruments, besides the guitar. After more than 30 years of playing and composing, Haselhoff released his debut CD Fingerstyle Guitar Solos in the year 2005, with the small label Peghead Productions. Fingerstyle is an advanced guitar technique, with the guitarist playing the melody, chords and bass lines all at the same time. The CD was well received, particularly in the USA, where Haselhoff is sometimes compared to guitarist Chet Atkins. Soon, the American label Solid Air Records picked Haselhoff's music for release in the USA. Since then, Haselhoff also appeared on various cover albums, including Cole Porter: DeLovely Guitar, Poppin' Guitars: A Tuneful of Sherman and A Guitar for Elvis. Haselhoff's second solo album, Guitar Magic, was released in November 2007. Besides audio CDs, Haselhoff also produced fingerstyle guitar instructional DVDs in English, Dutch and German.

Jeroen van der Boom is a Dutch singer who rose to fame in 2007 with his #1 hit single Jij bent zo. During his time as a student, Jeroen van der Boom... was already an artist. He played in a relatively unknown band called The Travellers. After he graduated, he started working in the entertainment scene. In 1996, he was employed by SBS 6 as the presenter of the TV programme Real TV, which was later renamed to Explosief. After that, he also worked for the music show 15 Miljoen Mensen, Barney's Dart Show , and Domino Day. In 2002, he founded his own production company: Rebel-TV & Events. He played in several theatre shows, including Barcelona and Novomundo. As of 2007, Van der Boom is a voice actor for Café de Wereld, and an entertainer in Koppensnellers. In 2010 he's one of the 4 judges, for the new Tv show called "The Voice Of Holland". For the 2011-2012 season of the voice of Holland, Van Der Boom will not return as a judge. Instead on March 12, 2011 he become the host of the game "lotto weekend miljonairs" the Dutch version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? broadcast on TV.
