Karan Ashley is a former American actress. Ashley was born Karen Ashley Jackson in Odessa, Texas. She graduated from David W. Carter High School in... Dallas, Texas. In 1992, she was a member of the short-lived girl group K.R.U.S.H, who contributed a song to the soundtrack of Mo' Money. She was known as "Ashley Jackson" at this time. Ashley's first acting job was as Aisha Campbell, the second Yellow Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, replacing Thuy Trang . Staying on for two years, Ashley left the show in 1996. She was replaced by Nakia Burrise for Power Rangers: Zeo. Her last Power Rangers appearance was in the finale for the third season of the series. Ashley has said that her decision to leave the series was because of the demanding hours. She also reveals that she was to be given an exiting story arc, just as Amy Jo Johnson was, but instead, following time off while her character was reduced to a child for some time in the third season, she would find that she was not asked to return to the set, the official reason given was that her character's recovery would not require her to appear on screen.

Stephnie Carmel Weir is an American actress and comedian, best known for her membership in the recurring cast on MADtv. Stephnie Weir was born in... Odessa, Texas. She attended Odessa College where she majored in theater and broadcasting. Weir then transferred to Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where she majored in anthropology and women's studies. After moving to Chicago, Stephnie Weir began performing at the Improv Olympic and later on The Second City's main stage and the Goodman Theatre. Weir teamed up with her husband, Robert Dassie, to form the comedy duo WeirDass. Weir joined the cast of MADtv in 2000 as a feature performer, for the 6th season. However, she was later promoted to a repertory performer status the following season. Weir left MADtv in January 2006, midway through her 6th season of the show. Weir had announced in 2005 that she would be leaving. However, fellow cast members Aries Spears and Paul Vogt would leave as well, and Ron Pederson would be let go by Fox due to budget cuts, so in order for the viewers to feel a sense of continuity, Weir was persuaded to stay on the show until half way through season 11.

As a youth, Bullock planned to study to become an evangelical Christian minister. He received a music scholarship to attend Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, but he left school without graduating. James Jackson Bulluck was known by his friends as Jimmie. He was not openly gay as a high school student. His interests were acting - anywhere and anytime and singing. Jimmie was often the center of attention because of his entertaining and fun personality. Jimmie has the ability to hear a song only one time and play the song perfectly on the piano, but he could not read piano music. Jimmie never seriously considered going into the ministry. A regular attendee at Sherwood Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas, "professing" intentions to join the ministry was popular and encouraged by the clergy.

Brooke Adams is a pop singer from Fort Worth, Texas, USA, who had a minor hit in 2001 with "The Kiss-Off ". She is currently working with the other... members of a new girl group, The Beach Girl5, to release their first singles and album. In 2001, Allison's first single, "The Kiss-Off ", peaked at #28 on Billboard magazine's Hot Singles Sales chart. Her first album, Brooke Allison, was released that June. Allison was discovered in February 2000 by the five times Grammy-nominated music producer, Michael Blakey, who was at that time the president of 2KSounds, an EMI distributed record label which later merged with Virgin Records. In 2002, she had four songs included in Cinderella II: Dreams Come True that were also released on Disney's Princess Favorites. Later that year she appeared on the Nickelodeon sitcom Taina in the episode "Sabotage". In 2008, she auditioned to become a member of the new girl group called The Beach Girl5. She is currently working on recording their first album along with members Mandy Jiroux, Laura New, Dominique Domingo and Noreen Juliano. The Beach Girl5 or BG5 is co-managed by Kris Jenner.

Virgil Lewis Johnson is a retired African American deejay, formerly at radio station KDAV in Lubbock. He was the lead singer of The Velvets, a 1950s... and 1960s vocal quintet from Odessa, also in West Texas. They are best remembered for their 1961 hit "Tonight ", which peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard pop charts. The song refers to a young woman waiting to fall in love or perhaps for her intended to propose marriage and present her with a ring of commitment. The Velvets can be heard chanting "doo-wop" as a refrain in a song. Doo wop is considered to have originated in 1955 with The Turbans' "When You Dance". However, the Velvets were a special type of doo-wop group because their sound was highly polished, and the backing usually included stringed instruments. KDAV calls itself the Buddy Holly Station, and Johnson during his tenure there was known as "V.J. the D.J." Prior to his retirement from KDAV, Johnson broadcast on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. KDAV is heard through the Internet. The station plays primarily rock and roll songs from the 1950s, the 1960s, and – recently – the first half of the 1970s.
