Cloverfields Dairy Farm was a model dairy farm located in Olympia, Washington. Built by former Washington State pioneer Hazard Stevens after he... returned to Olympia in 1914, today the farmhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After long careers in politics and the military, Hazard Stevens returned to Olympia from Boston, Massachusetts in 1914, determined to develop a large tract of land his father purchased in the 1850s. The first commission in Olympia for architect Joseph Wohleb, the Cloverfields farmhouse still stands today at 1100 Carlyon Avenue SE. It was built in the Dutch Colonial Revival Style and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to the house, Cloverfields originally included a large barn and two silos. As the president of the Olympia Light and Power Company, Stevens utilized electricity extensively throughout Cloverfields, particularly in the electrified barn and milking machines. The Holstein cows he used were anomaly in the area, and were complemented by Stevens' extensive orchard and angora goats.

Adam Kasper is a Seattle area record producer and engineer, working with such bands as Cat Power, Pond, Seaweed, The Tragically Hip, Truly, Mudhoney,... Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, R.E.M., Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. He went to Capital High School in Olympia, Washington. He won a Grammy Award in 2001 for his work on the Foo Fighters' There Is Nothing Left to Lose .

Slim Moon is the founder of the independent music label, Kill Rock Stars. He also started its sister label, 5 Rue Christine. Slim ran KRS from 1991... to 2006, during which time KRS released albums by dozens of artists including Sleater-Kinney, Elliott Smith, The Decemberists, Miranda July, Bikini Kill, Unwound, Huggy Bear, The Gossip, and Linda Perry. Slim and his wife, who now runs KRS, decided to make 5RC dormant, and in 2007 5RC released its final records for the present time. Moon is a partner in Shotclock Management, a company started by his wife Portia Sabin in 2004. In October 2006, Moon announced he would be departing from Kill Rock Stars to work as an A&R representative at Nonesuch Records, a Warner Music Group subsidiary. Portia Sabin took over ownership of Kill Rock Stars. In June 2007, Moon was laid off from his position at Nonesuch as part of corporate downsizing in Warner Music Group. A few days later, Moon was named senior director of A&R and artistic development at Rykodisc, also owned by WMG.

Calvin Johnson is an American guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, music producer, and disc jockey born in Seattle, Washington, USA. Known for his... uniquely deep, droning singing voice, Johnson was a founding member of the bands Cool Rays, Beat Happening, The Go Team, Dub Narcotic Sound System, and The Halo Benders. Calvin Johnson is also the founder and owner of the influential indie label K Records, and has been cited as a major player in the beginning of the modern independent music movement. As a prominent figure in the Olympia music scene, he was one of the major organizers of the seminal International Pop Underground Convention. Calvin's first introduction to underground culture was in 1977 when he became a volunteer at Olympia's community radio station, KAOS-FM, at the age of fifteen. The station's uniquely progressive programming policy mandated a focus on music available through independent and artist owned labels, rather than centralized corporate media. This independent, do-it-yourself ethos has been an important influence on Johnson's career.

Tobi Vail is an independent musician, DIY zinester, and feminist activist from Olympia, Washington, best known as an ex-girlfriend of Kurt Cobain,... and as the drummer of the defunct punk band Bikini Kill. She formed one of her first bands as the drummer for The Go Team when she was 15, later collaborating in several other groups figuring in the Olympia music scene. Currently, she fronts Spider and the Webs and plays drums in Knife in the Eye. Vail was born July 20, 1969. Growing up in a very musical family, she started playing music early. One of her first bands was The Go Team, an experimental punk project started with Calvin Johnson in 1985. The group released several cassettes and 9 singles on the independent label K Records, mostly on the 7" vinyl format - a practice Vail continues to this day. Billy "Boredom" Karren was one of the rotating musicians who played with The Go Team, and it was in this band that he and Vail played together for the first time, later collaborating in several other bands like Bikini Kill, The Frumpies, the upallnighters, and Spray Painted Love. Other guest musicians included Rich Jensen, David Nichols, and Donna Dresch.

Justin Trosper is an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter, born in Olympia, Washington. He fronted Tumwater/Olympia, Washington band Unwound... from 1991 to 2002. He has also been a member of bands such as Replikants, The Young Ginns, and Worst Case Scenario. Most of his work has been released on Kill Rock Stars Records. Trosper has been a record producer for several Olympia-area bands, primarily at Unwound's self-built recording studio, MagRecOne. He has worked on albums by artists such as Thrones , Young People, Shoplifting, Godzik Pink, The Bangs, Long Hind Legs, Anna Oxygen, and The Magic Magicians. In the early 1990s, he self-published a punk/ indie rock fanzine, "Joe Preston's Legs AKA Germ of Youth." Trosper formed Survival Knife with former Unwound drummer Brandt Sandeno in 2012.

Jared Warren is the bassist of both Big Business and The Melvins. Both Warren and Willis joined The Melvins in January 2006 and appear on Senile... Animal as well as 2008's Nude With Boots and 2010's album The Bride Screamed Murder. He was previously a member of bands Karp, Tight Bros From Way Back When and The Whip.

Charles R. Frank is an American actor noted for playing Bret Maverick's cousin Ben Maverick in the 1978 TV-movie The New Maverick with James Garner... and Jack Kelly, and in the short-lived 1979 television series Young Maverick. Graduated with the class of 1969 from Middlebury College in Vermont. From 1970 to 1974 , Frank played Dr. Jeff Martin on the ABC soap opera All My Children. In 2006, it was announced that the character would be taken over by John James, former of Dynasty. He also appeared twice on two episodes of M*A*S*H and once on the CBS family drama, Three for the Road. In 1977 Frank costarred with Deborah Winters and Claude Akins in the television horror film, Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo, directed by Stuart Hagmann. Also in 1977 Frank played the murder victim in the Columbo episode entitled, "Try And Catch Me". In 1979, he appeared as Lester Hackett in four episodes in the CBS miniseries The Chisholms; when the production resumed in 1980, he was replaced in the role by Reid Smith. In 1982, Frank portrayed independently wealthy Stanley Beck on the short lived series Filthy Rich.

Frank Alexander was an American silent film comedian and actor. Alexander, who was morbidly obese , was best known for playing villains in the films... of Larry Semon, who are often the father of Semon's love interest. He is best known to contemporary audiences for portraying a villainous interpretation of Uncle Henry, eventually proclaimed "Prince of Whales" upon reaching the Emerald City in Semon's Wizard of Oz. He was also part of the comedy team called "A Ton Of Fun" with two other large actors, Kewpie Ross and Hilliard Karr. Richard M. Roberts's article in Classic Images listed the top ten ingredients of a Larry Semon film, which began with these four: He was proclaimed at the time as one of the three fattest actors ever to appear on the screen, with Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle as one of the others. His interment was located at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Donald Eugene Ulrich, best known by the stage name Don Rich was a country musician who helped develop the Bakersfield sound in the early 1960s. He... was a noted guitarist and fiddler, and a member of the Buckaroos, the backing band of country singer Buck Owens. Donald Eugene Ulrich was born in Olympia, Washington on August 15, 1941. He was the adopted son of Bill and Anne Ulrich. Don grew up in the Tumwater area at 6th and Ferry on Tumwater Hill. His parents began teaching Don the fiddle as early as age three. Bill also constructed a small scale violin for Don to play. His parents entered Don in numerous talent contests and had him playing at any venue. Don also moved to the guitar in his youth. Don played both in and out of school, playing locally in bars as well as in the orchestra. Don was only 16 years old when he opened for Elvis Presley in September 1957 at the Tacoma Lincoln Bowl. While in high school he formed an early Rock and Roll band called the Blue Comets with his friends, drummer Greg Hawkins and pianist Steve Anderson. By 1958, Don was playing regularly in Steve's Restaurant in South Tacoma.

Zachary James Baker, better known by his stage name Zacky Vengeance, is the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the American metal/rock band... Avenged Sevenfold. Baker attended Huntington Beach High School, and formed Avenged Sevenfold there with M. Shadows and The Rev. Before Avenged Sevenfold, he was in a punk band called MPA*, which stands for Mad Porno Action. He implied that they were not successful. Baker came up with his stage name "Zacky Vengeance" because he wanted to get back at all the people from his youth who doubted his potential. He also came up with Jonathan Seward's stage name "Johnny Christ," saying it suited him. Vengeance was also responsible for the creation of the initialism "A7X". Despite playing the guitar left handed, Vengeance recalls the first guitar he learned to play on was actually a right-handed his parents had bought him for his thirteenth birthday. He learned by playing upside-down, watching his favorite bands and other people he knew who played, and practiced as much as he could.

Kim Murphy is an American actress known for her roles in such movies as Houseguest and Burning Annie and her roles in the television series Level 9... and 24. Born in Olympia, Washington, Murphy attended Tumwater High School in Tumwater, Washington, where she studied and performed dance, gymnastics and contortion. She graduated in class of '92. Her first big role was that of the teenage daughter in the film Houseguest, starring Phil Hartman and Sinbad. Murphy then appeared in many television series including her recurring role on Cybill, Party of Five and Snoops. In 1997, Murphy starred in play Miracles at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego, that garned her awards as well as good reviews. She played Pizza Hut Action Girl in series of Star Wars commercials in 1999. Her movie credits includes: horror Campfire Tales along with Alex McKenna, City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage, The In Crowd and independent Burning Annie, that garnered her a SMMASH Film Festival nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Two of her best known roles came while working on television.
