The Plaza Hotel in New York City is a landmark 20-story luxury hotel with a height of 250 ft and length of 400 ft that occupies the west... side of Grand Army Plaza, from which it derives its name, and extends along Central Park South in Manhattan. Fifth Avenue extends along the east side of Grand Army Plaza. It is owned by El-Ad Properties and managed and operated by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts of Canada. The hotel's main entrance faces the southern portion of Grand Army Plaza, commemorating the Union Army in the Civil War. Grand Army Plaza is in two sections, bisected by Central Park South. The section in front of the Plaza Hotel is centered by the Pulitzer Fountain, of Abundance by Karl Bitter, funded by the will of the newspaper publisher Joseph Pulitzer: the statue in the fountain is specifically Pomona, Roman goddess of orchards. The statue was posed for by Doris Doscher, also famous for posing for the Standing Liberty Quarter. The north side of Grand Army Plaza, a corner cut out from Central Park, has Augustus Saint-Gaudens' part-gilded bronze equestrian statue of [Piklas Pøller| PIKLAS GENERAL]].

Weber was born in Loma Linda, California and raised in Redlands and Palm Desert, California, with her two older siblings, Ricky and Melissa. Her parents divorced when she was five years old, and she lived with her mother in Costa Rica briefly, then was moved multiple times until her senior year in high school. Attending four different high schools in as many years, she finished her schooling after relocating to Newport Beach, California from Kentucky after living less than a year in that state. Weber's undergraduate education was funded by her go-go dancing at popular venues in Hollywood and Las Vegas.

Jason Michael Lee is an American actor and skateboarder known for his role as the title character on the NBC television series My Name is Earl, his... portrayal of Syndrome in the film The Incredibles, his role as Dave Seville in the Alvin and the Chipmunks films, and his work with director Kevin Smith. Lee was born in Orange County, California, the son of Carol and Greg Lee. He was raised in Huntington Beach, and attended Ocean View High School. Lee was a prominent professional skateboarder in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He co-founded Stereo Skateboards with Chris Pastras in 1992, and the pair revived the company in 2003 after it had been defunct for several years. Lee and Tony Hawk were the first two skateboarders to receive a signature shoe with Airwalk. Lee later worked with Hawk when he lent his voice and likeness to the skateboarding video-game Tony Hawk's Project 8. Lee later appeared in another skateboarding video game in 2010 with Skate 3 as 'Coach Frank', a character created during development for Stereo. He had a part in the 1991 Blind Skateboards video Video Days, shot by director Spike Jonze.

Sammi Smith was an American country music singer and songwriter. Born Jewel Faye Smith, she is best known for her 1971 country/pop crossover hit,... "Help Me Make It Through the Night", which was written by Kris Kristofferson. She became one of the few women in the outlaw country movement during the 1970s. Sammi Smith was born in Orange County, California, in 1943 but spent her childhood in Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona and Colorado. She dropped out of school at the age of eleven and began to sing professionally in nightclubs. She was only fifteen when she married, and eventually had four children. In 1967, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, soon after her divorce. When Johnny Cash got wind of her talent, she was soon signed with Columbia Records. She produced her first minor country hit in 1968 titled "So Long, Charlie Brown, Don't Look for Me Around". The song showed Smith's potential as a country powerhouse. "Help Me Make It Through the Night" was Sammi Smith's career hit and the one that made her famous. She had been one of the rare women in the "outlaw country" movement sweeping country music in the 1970s.

Toni Childs is an American singer-songwriter from Orange, California. She has released four studio albums and is best known for her songs "Don't... Walk Away" , "I've Got To Go Now", a Top 5 hit in Australia in 1991, and the Emmy-winning "Because You're Beautiful" . In New Zealand she has achieved six Top 40 hit singles and three platinum albums. Childs was born in Orange, California, but lived in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Nevada during her childhood. Raised in a household dominated by her parents' religious values, Childs stated in a 1988 article for Time magazine that she and her three brothers "were not allowed to listen to pop music or rock or even go to the movies. There was a lot I missed out on." At the age of 15, Childs ran away from home and became a blues musician. In 1972, she saw Pink Floyd in concert and decided to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter. In 1979, Childs performed several live shows with the band Berlin whilst their singer, Teri Nunn, was unavailable.

Brad Williams is a comedian and actor. He regularly appeared on the show Mind of Mencia. Williams was born with Achondroplasia, a type of dwarfism.... His condition plays a large part in the bits in both his stand-up comedy and television roles. He was a student at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, California and after graduation, he attended the University of Southern California but dropped out to pursue his acting and comedy career. Williams got his start by attending a Carlos Mencia live comedy show. While he was in the crowd Mencia made jokes about dwarfs. The people sitting close to Williams were scared to laugh. Mencia noticed this, then noticed Williams and he asked Brad to join him on stage. Brad cracked a few jokes and impressed Mencia. Mencia then asked Williams to try stand-up and be his opening act on the road. Brad has been Mencia's opening act ever since, opening up shows on both the Mind of Mencia tour and the popular Punisher Tour.
