Orem

Allison Renae Holker is an American dancer. Most famously known from her appearances on the TV Show So You Think You Can Dance, where she was a... contestant in season 2 and an all-star in season 7, Holker is also credited with a wide variety of work in film, television and concert tours. Holker was born and grew up in Orem, Utah and graduated from Timpanogos High School in June 2006. She graduated from the same school as fellow SYTYCD contestant Chelsie Hightower, but graduated one year earlier. She began formal dance training at "The Dance Club" studio in Orem, Utah when she was four years old and began teaching at the same studio when she was 16. She was recognized for her dance talents by winning various awards, and went on to perform with Earth, Wind and Fire, at the opening and closing ceremonies at the Olympic Games in 2002, and in the Disney movies High School Musical and High School Musical 2. She has also been seen in various commercials and in the Top 8 on So You Think You Can Dance, Season 2, and in the SYTYCD nationwide tour. Holker has taught at different dance conventions and workshops across the country.

Ashly DelGrosso-Costa , known professionally as Ashly Costa, is a professional dancer from Highland, Utah who starred on the ABC television series... Dancing with the Stars for the first three seasons and returned March 22, 2010 for season 10 . A self-described "Utah County Mormon", DelGrosso was introduced to dance by her mother, Kim, who co-owns a dance studio with Alex and Robin Murillo 'Center Stage Performing Arts Studio" in Orem, Utah where DelGrosso has worked as an instructor for six years. DelGrosso is the fourth of eight children. She has two older brothers, one older sister, and four younger sisters. Her five sisters are also dancers. She performed with those sisters, Averie Michelle, Afton Skye, Autumn, Amber and Abrea Danielle, as a troupe in a third season results show the week after DelGrosso and partner Harry Hamlin were eliminated. Afton competed on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars in a pro dancer competition to win a spot as a professional in the show's ninth season, but did not make past the third week of competition .

Kurt Roland Bestor is an American composer, arranger, and performer. Bestor was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and raised in Orem, Utah, graduating... from Orem High School in 1976. His grandfather played trumpet in Tommy Dorsey's band and his great uncle played trombone in Jack Benny's band. He got his start in music as his parents "required" their children to take piano lessons, which he didn't always enjoy. He was envious of his friends who were out playing football and other sports while he was stuck practicing piano. One day his mother told him to "play something that sounds like a sunrise." He came up with something he said wasn't much, but it opened the door to a new level of enjoyment with the piano; composing. He says he still hasn't written a song especially for his mother, but hopes to be good enough to do that some day. He also learned to play the trumpet, playing in the pep band in high school. He is an accomplished trumpeter, pianist and composer, as evidenced in his concerts and recordings, along with a few vocals. Some vocals are synthesized with his keyboard, as in his famous Prayer of the Children.

Noelle Pikus-Pace is an American skeleton racer who competed from 2000 to 2010. She won three medals at the FIBT World Championships with a gold ... and two silvers . After winning the silver medal in the women's skeleton event at the 2005 FIBT World Championships in Calgary, Pikus-Pace emerged as one of the favorites to medal at the upcoming Winter Olympics in Turin. That would change on October 19, 2005 at the bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track in Calgary when she broke her right leg after she and her teammates were hit by a four-man bobsleigh that failed to brake after the finish line. The bobsleigh ejected out of the end of the track and hit Pikus-Pace and teammate Lea Ann Parsley, narrowly missing three other teammates. Pikus-Pace underwent surgery to repair her broken leg, including an insertion of a titanium rod in her right leg. She would return to competition seven weeks later at Igls, Austria, finishing 20th. She would chronicle her comeback from the 2005 freak accident which prevented her participation at Turin.

Robert Edward "Bert" McCracken is the lead singer and songwriter of the American alternative rock band The Used. McCracken was born in Provo but... grew up in Orem, Utah, USA, and was raised in a Mormon family. He has three sisters and one younger brother . He attended Timpanogos High School for a brief time, before dropping out at 16. Before joining The Used, he played the trumpet in a local band called I'm With Stupid, starting at age 12. The eldest son of the household, Bert enjoyed a happy home life as a child, but as he grew into a teenager his and his parents' views conflicted. He rebelled against his parents and against their Mormon religion by going to other churches. As a teenager Bert was against drugs and he edited a straight-edge magazine, "Drugs Suck," until engaging in a physical bout with fellow straight edgers, thus driving the drifting 15-year-old in a different direction, culminating in drug experimentation. He became addicted to crystal meth, then continued his self-destructive behavior by dropping out of high school; soon after, he was kicked out of the house at the age of 16.

Pat Marie Gagon is an American actress, singer, author and entrepreneur most notable for her gospel country style of music. and hit solo single... Outlaw Blues. Born Pat Marie Gagon in Utah to Marie and Fred Gagon, Patti was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints , along her three sisters: Utahna, Sharon, and Carol; and three brothers: Richard, Ira and Fred Jr. Patti started singing in church at age of 6 and performed in community plays and appeared on television. In her high school, Orem High, she performed in the live band “Peace and Happiness.” She later attended Brigham Young University and got degrees in Psychology, Musical Theater and Education. She taught Bonneville Elementary School's 2nd grade class in the first televised Open Class Room. After graduation, she taught at the Junior College and started the Dance Team and Cheer Squads at Utah Technical Center, . Patti went on to enter the Mrs. America pageant and won Mrs. Utah 1984.
