Paul Rodriguez III , also known by his nickname P-Rod, is a Mexican American professional street skateboarder and actor. Rodriguez was born on December 31, 1984, to stand-up comedian and actor Paul Rodriguez and Laura Martinez. Rodriguez bought his first skateboard in December 1996, shortly before his twelth birthday. He got his first sponsor in 1999 with DNA Skateboards, after sending a tape to them. He turned professional in September 2002, after being featured in Transworld Skateboarding's In Bloom video. Rodriguez is sponsored by Nike Skateboarding, Plan B Skateboards, Mountain Dew,... Target, AT&T, Nixon Watches, Incase Designs, Venture Trucks, Primitive Skateshop, Markisa, Andale Bearings, Diamond Supply Company, and Grizzly Griptape. Rodriguez currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife, Rainbow, and their daughter, Heaven.
