Fort Barrancas or Fort San Carlos de Barrancas is a historic United States military fort in the Warrington area of Pensacola, Florida, located... physically on Naval Air Station Pensacola. The hill-top fort, connected to a sea-level water battery, overlooks Pensacola Bay, from what is now Naval Air Station Pensacola. Because the hill-top fort was rebuilt of brick , becoming Fort Barrancas, the older, water battery downhill has also been called Fort San Carlos, separately, being a remnant from the time the hilltop was the wooden Fort San Carlos de Barrancas. Spanning a multi-century history, the U.S. Army deactivated Fort Barrancas on April 15, 1947. Designated a National Historic Site in 1960, control of the site was transferred to the National Park Service in 1971. After extensive restoration during 1971-1980, Fort Barrancas was opened to the public . Fort Barrancas was built on the site of numerous previous forts, including Fort San Carlos de Austria, which was constructed by the Spanish in 1698.

The Historic Pensacola Village is a collection of 22 historical buildings and museums owned and operated by the University of West Florida. The... organization is largely based upon the donation of T.T. Wentworth's large historical collection to the state of Florida, and the establishment of an organization dedicated to Historic Preservation that grew because of Mr. Wentworth's generosity. The Village is located in downtown Pensacola, Florida, situated between Plaza Ferdinand VII and Seville Square. Parking is available behind the T.T. Wentworth Museum. Admission is purchased for a week, and includes access to the entire Village and the T.T. Wentworth Museum, and includes a guided tour of several historical buildings. The tour buildings can only be entered on the tour. The museum complex is open for visitors Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are relatively inexpensive. Historic Pensacola also sells memberships. Members get admission for the year. Certain buildings can be rented out for special occasions. In particular, Old Christ Church is popular for weddings, and the Museum of Commerce is popular for events and receptions.

The Saenger Theatre, also known as the Saenger Theater, is a historic theater in Pensacola, Florida. It is located at 118 South Palafox Place. On... July 19, 1976, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. In 1989, the Saenger Theater was listed in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published by the University of Florida Press.. The theatre, often referred to as the Grand Dame of Palafox was first built in 1925 and was designed by architect Emile Weil in the style known as Spanish Baroque architecture. This style was selected due to the extensive Spanish history of the Pensacola area. Mr. Weil is also known for designing theaters in Mobile, Alabama, as well as New Orleans and Shreveport, both of Louisiana. Construction began on top of the same site where the old Pensacola Opera House originally stood, which was destroyed by the 1917 Pinar del Río hurricane. The Saenger was built with the very bricks which housed the original opera house as well as the railings. The overall cost to build the Saenger was a total of $500,000 and was constructed by C.H. Turner Company, General Contractors.

Gossard, Dave Krusen, and Eddie Vedder, he is one of the founding members of Pearl Jam. McCready was also a member of the side project bands Temple of the Dog, Mad Season and The Rockfords. Mike McCready was born in Pensacola, Florida, but his family moved to San Diego, shortly after his birth. When he was a child, his parents played Jimi Hendrix and Santana; while his friends listened to Kiss and Aerosmith, McCready would frequently play bongo drums. At the age of eleven, McCready purchased his first guitar and began taking lessons. In eighth grade, McCready formed his first band, Warrior, whose name soon changed to Shadow. Originally a cover band playing during free periods at Roosevelt High School, the band eventually began writing original material and recording demo tapes. After high school, McCready worked at a pizza restaurant where he befriended musician Pete Droge. In 1986, Shadow relocated to Los Angeles, California and attempted to cut a record deal.

Kuretich, of Croatian origin , a Marine Corps general and decorated veteran of World War II. His father's military career resulted in extensive travel for the family. When they settled down, he was raised in Independence, Kansas. At 16, Kurtis began working as an announcer for KIND-AM, a commercial station in Independence, Kansas, of which he is currently a part owner. He graduated from The University of Kansas with a B.S. in journalism in 1962 and went on to earn his J.D. from the Washburn University School of Law in 1966.

Candace Bailey is an American actress known for roles on Nickelodeon, the TV series Jericho, and as of January 2011 is a co-host to Attack of the... Show!. Candace Bailey was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She is a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School near Pensacola, Florida, and attended Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She is also a former Junior Olympic gymnast. Bailey played Skylar Stevens on the CBS series Jericho from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, she was on Nickelodeon's U-Pick Live from 2002 to 2005. She also appeared in the music video of Goodnight Goodnight by Maroon 5. Bailey has said that after Jericho was cancelled she worked as a cocktail waitress and babysitter between acting jobs and that work made her more appreciative of her acting opportunities. Other TV appearances have included episodes of Ghost Whisperer , The Sopranos, Robot Chicken, As the World Turns, Slime Time Live and a co-hosting slot on a kids-focused 2004 Super Bowl pre-game show. Matthew Gerard Maiellaro is the co-creator and writer of the cult television animated Adult Swim shows, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Perfect Hair... Forever, and creator of 12 Oz. Mouse. He is a native of Pensacola, Florida, and a graduate of Pensacola Catholic High School. Prior to his work on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Maiellaro was a producer and writer for Space Ghost Coast to Coast since the show's inception in 1994. Maiellaro met friend and future writing partner, Dave Willis when Willis came on as a staff writer in 1995. The two have since made a few short independent films together, most notably the live-action short A Day Off, which follows a Michael Myers puppet and documents what he does on his day off from murder. In 2000, Maiellaro and Willis created a spin-off from Space Ghost Coast to Coast -- Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Seven years later, Maiellaro and Willis released a full-length Aqua Teen Hunger Force feature film on April 13, 2007. His writing is characterized by surreal humour and at times, a total disregard for traditional forms of storytelling.
