The Community theatre opened in the 1920'sthe location was previously a grocers shop. It was not built in 1951 as someone has listed.

Joseph Jarman , is a jazz musician, composer and Shinshu Buddhist priest. He is perhaps best known as one of the first members of the Association for... the Advancement of Creative Musicians and the Art Ensemble of Chicago. Jarman grew up in Chicago, Illinois. At DuSable High School he studied drums with Walter Dyett, switching to saxophone and clarinet when he joined the United States Army after graduation. During his time there, he was part of the 11th Airborne Division Band for a year. After he was discharged from the army in 1958, Jarman attended Wilson Junior College, where he met bassist Malachi Favors Maghostut and saxophonists Roscoe Mitchell, Henry Threadgill, and Anthony Braxton. These men would often perform long jam sessions at the suggestion of their professor Richard Wang . Mitchell introduced Jarman to pianist Muhal Richard Abrams, and Jarman, Mitchell, and Maghostut joined Abrams' Experimental Band, a private, non-performing ensemble, when that group was founded in 1961.

Kenneth Johnson is an American screenwriter, producer and director best known as the creator of the V science fiction franchise and The Incredible... Hulk TV series. His creative efforts are almost entirely concentrated in the area of television science fiction. A native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Johnson is a graduate of the Carnegie Institute of Technology. His early TV work includes The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman and The Incredible Hulk. Johnson created the character of Jaime Sommers and the Bionic Woman series. In 1983, he wrote and directed the original miniseries V, about an invasion of Earth by reptilian aliens. The miniseries aired on NBC, and a year later was followed by a sequel, V: The Final Battle, which Johnson briefly worked on before leaving the project due to disagreements with the network. Johnson was subsequently credited as a co-writer of the sequel miniseries under the pseudonym Lillian Weezer, and was not involved at all in the weekly V television series that followed. In 1989, he produced the television series Alien Nation based on the 1988 film of the same name.

Mark Anthony Bradley is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of... the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oklahoma. Bradley has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New Orleans Saints; and Bradley's father, Danny Bradley, also played for the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions, selected in the 7th round of the 1985 collegiate draft after becoming an MVP quarterback for the Sooners and the Big-Eight Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 1984; leading his team to the 1985 Orange Bowl and a shot at the National Championship. Due to a season-ending injury against the Detroit Lions, Bradley was a small part of the Bears 2005 offense, starting only eight games, and recording just 18 receptions for 230 yards. Following an injury to Bernard Berrian during week nine of the 2006 season, Bradley became a productive asset for the Bears’ offensive. While filling in for Berrian in the following weeks, Bradley caught two touchdown passes for 202 yards.

Rev. W.R. "Smokie" Norful, Jr. is an American gospel singer and pianist, best known for his 2002 album, I Need You Now and his 2004 release, Nothing... Without You, which won a Grammy at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album in 2004. Norful, a minister who is also the son of an African Methodist Episcopal Church minister, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas but grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, deeply involved in his father's church. He was interested in music from a very young age, reportedly picking out one-finger piano melodies from the age of four. His parents supported him with music lessons, and, unusual for his background, allowed him to experiment with and listen to the current R&B and soul music of the day as well as gospel music. Norful attended Pine Bluff High School, where he occasionally performed in school assemblies and programs. Norful graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff as a History major and spent four years teaching high school at Jack Robey in Pine Bluff,AR .

Mouser started her... career at the age of five when she was chosen as a photo-double for Mel Gibson’s daughter in Signs. She has two siblings, Aaron Parker Mouser and Frannie Mouser, who are also in the acting business. She was featured on the Starz Kids & Family series Eloise: The Animated Series as the voice of Eloise and appeared as the child-lead in the Hallmark Channel original movie A Stranger's Heart. Mouser has done voice work for many animated features such as Bambi 2, Dragon Hunters, Tarzan 2, Pompoko, and The Fox and the Hound 2. She has also appeared in guest starring roles on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Without a Trace, King of Queens, Monk, Inconceivable, Scrubs, One Life to Live and had a recurring role on NCIS as Gibbs' daughter Kelly. She also had a series regular role in the series CW series Life Is Wild as Mia Weller, for 13 episodes.

Mary Katherine Linaker, known professionally as "Kay Linaker", "Kate Phillips", and "Kay Linaker-Phillips" was an American actress and screenwriter,... who appeared in many B movies during the 1930s and 1940s, most notably Kitty Foyle . Linaker used her married name as a screenwriter, notably for the cult movie hit The Blob . She is credited with coining the name "The Blob" for the movie, which was originally titled "The Molten Meteor." Linaker graduated from New York University and acted in supporting roles on Broadway before signing a film contract with Warner Bros.. She later taught in the film studies department at Keene State College in New Hampshire from 1980 to 2006. From the 1960s to her death, unbeknown to most, Mrs. Phillips dedicated much of her time supporting the children at Hampshire Country School in Rindge, New Hampshire. Mrs. Phillips volunteered countless hours over the many years as English teacher and drama coach at the very small private school for twice exceptional children whose alumni include Dr. Temple Grandin.

Camille Keaton is an American actress, perhaps best known for her role in the 1978 film I Spit on Your Grave. Keaton was born in Pine Bluff,... Arkansas. She is the daughter of Buster Keaton, Jr., and the granddaughter of Buster Keaton. She attended Eudora Middle School, Eudora, Arkansas, until 1960 when her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1969, she was involved in a major car accident that left her with facial scarring. Keaton once worked as a hostess for Amtrak. Her debut role was in 1972 playing the role of Solange in Massimo Dallamano's movie of the giallo genre entitled What Have You Done to Solange? Though a small role, her delicate and fragile physique got immediate attention. Robert Marcucci says of her role as Solange, "She truly steals every scene she's in, simply drifting in and out of each of her scenes, her face and mannerisms mysterious and alluring." In November 1972, Keaton was a Playmen centerfold. In September 1974, she was on the cover of Playmen. She won the Medalla Sitges en Plata de Ley Best Actress award for her performance in I Spit on Your Grave at the 1978 Catalonian International Film Festival in Spain.
