Pinellas Park is a city located in central Pinellas County, Florida. The population was 45,658 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau is 47,166. The city was founded by Philadelphia publisher, F. A. Davis, who purchased 12,800 acres of Hamilton Disston's land around 1911. Pinellas Park is located at 27°51′08″N 82°42′26″W / 27.852302°N 82.707096°W / 27.852302; -82.707096.
