Marriott Center is a 22,700-seat multi-purpose arena at 1497 N 450 E on the campus of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and is home to the BYU... Cougars men's and women's basketball teams. It is also used for weekly devotionals and forums. It is by far the largest basketball arena in the West Coast Conference, which BYU joined in 2011. The Marriott Center was named in honor of benefactor J. Willard Marriott, founder of the Marriott Corporation. When the arena opened in 1971, it replaced the University of Minnesota's Williams Arena as the largest college basketball arena in the United States. It was also the largest venue in the nation built for basketball, being larger than any NBA arena at that time. It would lose both distinctions when the University of Kentucky men's basketball team moved into Rupp Arena in 1976, but would remain the nation's largest basketball-specific facility on a college campus until 1987, when the University of Tennessee opened Thompson-Boling Arena. The Marriott Center regained its claim as the largest on-campus arena built for basketball in 2007 when a renovation and the addition of luxury suites decreased Thompson-Boling's capacity.

Ryan Raddon , better known by his stage name Kaskade, is an American DJ and record producer. On October 20, 2011, DJ Magazine announced the results... of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Ultra Records, Kaskade placed at #30. On September 9, 2011, a DJ Times poll voted Kaskade "America's Best DJ 2011". Kaskade was born in 1971 in Evanston, Illinois. He grew up in nearby Northbrook, IL and attended Glenbrook North High School. He is the brother of Rich Raddon, an entrepreneur and film producer. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT from 1989-1990 honing his DJ skills in his dorm room. At age 19, Raddon served a two year full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan. Following his mission, in 1992, he moved to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah. During this time he owned and operated a local record store, Mechanized Records. In May 2000, Kaskade moved to San Francisco and began working as an A&R assistant for Om Records. Releasing his first single "What I Say" on the label in 2001.

He has been nominated for a total of two Saturn Awards and two Young Artist Awards. He is also known for his roles in Pet Sematary Two and as Chip on the comedy sitcom, Roseanne. Rushton was born as Jared Michael Rushton on March 3, 1974, in Provo, Utah. Not much is known about his past, but his first appearance was as a rocker in a "Barbie and the Rockers" commercial. His mother, Monica Rushton, helped with filming around the set of Big. He has one brother, Ryan Rushton, who is in the same band as Jared. He also starred in the wash-up movie A Cry in the Wild, which was based on the book Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. Rushton began his career at age twelve as Richie in an episode of Tales from the Darkside. He also appeared in another show, Cagney & Lacey, and a television film, Top Kids. In 1987, he got his first major role as Kurt Russell's son, Charlie Proffitt in the film, Overboard. The next year he starred in Lady in White as Donald and as Tom Hanks's friend, Billy, in Big.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and also of the Research Consortium of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. A gymnast in his youth who later took up the sport of luge and participated in two Olympic Winter Games .

Steven Nyman , is an alpine ski racer on the U.S. Ski Team. Formerly a slalom skier, he is now a speed specialist, competing mainly in downhill,... super G, and combined. Nyman raced at Sundance near Provo as a junior until making a move to Park City in 1999. He was a discretionary pick for the 2002 World Junior Championships in Tarvisio, Italy, where he won the slalom and finished second in the combined. His slalom feat qualified him to compete in the World Cup Finals in Flachau, Austria; in that event, he finished a surprising 15th. He did not begin competing regularly on the World Cup until the 2005–06 season, during which he notched a pair of top-ten finishes and competed in his first Winter Olympics, finishing 19th in downhill, 29th in combined, and 43rd in super G. On December 1, 2006, Nyman landed on his first World Cup podium, placing third in a downhill at Beaver Creek, Colorado. Fifteen days later, he won his first World Cup race, a downhill in Val Gardena, Italy.

William "Will" Swenson is an American actor, writer and film director best known for his work in musical theatre. He also has developed a film... career, primarily in Mormon cinema. Swenson is best-known among Mormons for his role as Jonathan Jordan in the LDS Cinema movie The Singles Ward and its sequel, The Singles 2nd Ward . Swenson co-wrote, directed and acted in the LDS Cinema feature film, Sons of Provo . A grandson of Nathan and Ruth Hale, a playwright and actress, Will Swenson was born in Utah and moved around a lot throughout the United States during his childhood. He attended Brigham Young University and later served as a Mormon missionary in Ecuador. However, he is no longer a practicing Mormon. Swenson appeared on Broadway in Lestat, 110 in the Shade and Brooklyn. He created the role of Stacee Jaxx in the musical Rock of Ages but did not go on to perform the role on Broadway because he was offered the starring role of Berger in the Broadway revival of Hair. He played Sir Sagramore in Camelot at Lincoln Center and Chris in the second national tour of Miss Saigon.

Kyle John Turley is a former American football offensive tackle of the National Football League, and current American recording artist. He was... originally drafted by the New Orleans Saints seventh overall in the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at San Diego State. In addition to the Saints, Turley also played for the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs in his career before retiring after the 2007 season. He was an All-Pro selection in 2000. Turley is widely remembered for what occurred on November 4, 2001 in the Louisiana Superdome. The Saints were trailing the New York Jets 16-9 late in the fourth quarter, but were driving deep into opposition territory. After a scramble, quarterback Aaron Brooks was tackled at the four yard line where Jets defender Damien Robinson viciously grabbed his facemask and started to bend Brooks backwards. Turley proceeded to grab Robinson's hand's and forced him to let go of Brooks, before picking him up by the facemask and tackling him to the ground as referees and players from both teams tried to separate them.

Shauna L. Rohbock is a Specialist in the U.S. Army National Guard, an Olympic medal-winning bobsledder, and former professional soccer player.... Rohbock was born and raised in Orem, Utah, and is a graduate of Orem's Mountain View High School and Brigham Young University. While attending college, she set several BYU women's soccer records, scoring 95 goals in 368 shots during her 90-game career there. Her 95 goals places her sixth on the NCAA career scoring list. At the professional level, she played for the club San Diego Spirit of the WUSA in 2003. She competed in the bobsled at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, winning silver in the two-woman event with teammate Valerie Fleming. Rohbock's best overall finish in the Bobsleigh World Cup was second in 2006-2007 with Fleming. She won her first career World Cup win at the Calgary race, followed by a second win at the World Cup held at Park City, Utah on December 8, 2006. She delivered a 48.73 second run that shattered the Park City track record previously set by Jill Bakken in 2002. Rohbock and Fleming has also won bronze medals at the World Championships in 2005 and 2007.
