Prachi Desai is an Indian film and television actress. She is best known for her role as Bani Walia in the Hindi television drama Kasamh Se which... aired on Zee TV. Prachi is the endorser, spokesperson, brand ambassador and the face of Neutrogena products in India. She is also the brand ambassador of Goa Tourism, a popular holiday destination in India. Prachi was born in Surat, Gujarat, India. She studied in St Joseph Convent, Panchgani and completed her schooling till ninth grade in Surat. After that, she went to Pune for higher studies. She studied at Sinhagad college, Vadgaon, Pune. During her school time she was an outstanding student and always received prizes for many dancing and acting competitions . == Car She is beautiful did not start started her career with a short modeling workshop. Amruta Khanvilkar is an Indian film actress who appears in Bollywood and Marathi movies. She has appeared in Hindi and Marathi films and... established herself as one of Marathi cinema's leading actresses and an accomplished dancer. Amruta was born in the city of Pune to Raju and Gauri Khanvilkar. Amruta was a part of “Zee India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj”, a talent hunt show which was aired on Zee TV in 2004. Ranked third in the Talent Hunt contest, she went on to star in Sahara One's TV Series Ada followed by series Time Bomb 9/11. She also anchored daily "Bollywood tonight" which aired on Zee Music. Smita Patil was an Indian actress of film, television and theatre. Regarded among the finest stage and film actresses of her times, Patil appeared... in over 75 Hindi and Marathi films in a career that spanned just over a decade. During her career, she received two National Film Awards and a Filmfare Award. She was the recipient of the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour in 1985. Patil graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and made her film debut with Shyam Benegal's Charandas Chor . She became one of the leading actresses of parallel cinema, a New Wave movement in India cinema, though she also appeared in several mainstream movies throughout her career. Her performances were often acclaimed, and her most notable roles include Manthan , Bhumika , Aakrosh , Chakra , Chidambaram and Mirch Masala . Apart from acting, Patil was an active feminist and a member of the Women's Centre in Mumbai.

Prabha Atre is an Indian classical vocalist. Prabha was born to Abasaheb and Indirabai Atre in Pune. As children, Prabha and her sister, Usha, were... interested in music, but neither of them planned to pursue music as a career. When Prabha was eight, Indirabai was not keeping good health, and at a friend's suggestion that classical music lessons would help her feel better, she took a few lessons. Listening to those lessons inspired Prabha to learn classical music. Her music training was in the guru-shishya paramparaa system. She learnt classical music initially from Shri. Vijay Karandikar. Then, went to late Shri. Sureshbabu Mane and Smt. Hirabai Badodekar, the famous musicians from the Kirana school for advanced training. she acknowledges the influence of two other greats, Ustad Amir Khan and Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, on her gayaki. While studying music, Prabha finished college courses in science and law to receive degrees in both of those disciplines. She later also earned a Ph.D. in music. Her doctoral thesis was titled Sargam, and pertained to the use of sol-fa notes in Indian classical music. which is unique of its kind.

Sulochana , real name Ruby Myers was an Indian silent film star of Jewish ancestry, although it is unclear whether she descended from an Ashkenazi... family, Bene Israeli family, or both. In her heyday she was one of the highest paid actresses of her time, when she was paired with Dinshaw Billimoria in Imperial Studios films. In mid-1930 she opened Rubi Pics, a film production house. She was awarded the 1973 Dada Saheb Phalke Award, India's highest award in cinema for lifetime achievement. Chubby, petite and brown-eyed, the self-christened Sulochana was among the early Eurasian female stars of Indian Cinema. She was born Ruby Myers in Pune and was working as a telephone operator when she was approached by Mohan Bhavnani of Kohinoor Film Company to work in films. Though excited by the offer, she turned him down as acting was regarded as quite a dubious profession for women those days. However Bhavnani persisted with his offer and she finally agreed, despite having no knowledge of acting whatsoever.

Sonali Kulkarni is an Indian actress. She was born in Pune. She has worked in Marathi and Hindi films. She is known for her roles in Dil Chahta Hai,... Singham, Taxi No 9211, and Gair. Sonali Kulkarni first made her appearance on the screen in a Kannada film titled Cheluvi directed by Girish Karnad. She thereafter has appeared in many films, which includes an Italian film titled Fuoco Di Su Me for which she won an award in the 2006 Milan International Film Festival. She has received a Special Jury Award in the 49th National Film Awards for her role in a short film in Marathi Chaitra. Apart from acting, she was an editor with Viva, a supplement of Marathi daily newspaper Loksatta from June 2005 till May 2007. She used to pen a weekly column called "So Kool". The columns are published in the book So Kool by Rajahansa Prakashan. Actor Nana Patekar on the release of this book said, "Whenever I read her articles, I feel she is talking to me. There is so much of simplicity in her writing." Kulkarni showed her dancing skills in the second season of the popular celebrity-dance competition show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Sony TV.
