Raat Aur Din

Raat Aur Din is a 1967 Indian Bollywood film directed by Satyen Bose. The leading actress, Nargis, won the distinguished National Film Award for Best Actress for her role as Varuna, a married woman who suffers from multiple personality disorder. By day, she is a typical Hindi homemaker, whilst at night she calls herself Peggy and walks the streets of Calcutta. Pratap meets a young woman named Varuna. He falls in love with her and soon they get married. He later find Varuna at midnight in a night-club, where she sings, dances and gets drunk. When he demands an explanation from Varuna's part,... she denies ever doing such things. Then Pratap meets a young man - Dilip, who claims to be Varuna's lover, and states that she is actually his girlfriend Peggy. It later reveals that Varuna has a multiple personality disorder.
