Linda Edna Cardellini is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her roles as high school student Lindsay Weir on Freaks and... Geeks, as Velma Dinkley in the live-action Scooby-Doo films, and as Samantha Taggart on ER. Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, the daughter of Lorraine and Wayne David Cardellini. She made her first public appearance at age 10 when she sang in a school play. Subsequent to that performance, she acted in several school productions, and started attending drama lessons. She graduated from nearby Mountain View's Catholic St. Francis High School in 1993, then moved to Los Angeles to seek roles in television and film. Cardellini received her first big break in 1996 when she landed a starring role as Sarah on ABC's Saturday morning live-action children's series, Bone Chillers. Following this, she made guest appearances on prime-time programs such as Step by Step, Clueless, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Boy Meets World as Lauren, a girl that came between the show's star couple.

Cedric Bixler-Zavala is a Grammy Award-winning Mexican-American musician known for his work as frontman and lyricist of the progressive rock band... The Mars Volta, and as frontman and occasional guitarist of the post-hardcore punk group At the Drive-In. Cedric has a High Tenor vocal range, spanning from the G above Low C to Soprano C , which contrast his vocal work for At the Drive-In which consisted mainly of a screaming style. He has also played drums for a number of acts, including the dub act De Facto and recently Big Sir. Bixler-Zavala is fond of Frank Zappaesque humour and writes in English, Spanish, and Latin. “I love to take common sayings, pervert them, mutate them a little. So you think I am singing one thing, but when you read it, it is different.” Bixler-Zavala is renowned for his on-stage behavior. He frequently does somersaults on stage, swings his microphone , throws objects such as cymbals, microphone stands, and trash cans into the audience, salsa dances, adjusts Omar Rodriguez’s effects pedals and occasionally plays the maracas.

Jeff Clark is one of the most noteworthy and respected big-wave surfers, famous for surfing Mavericks alone for 15 years before it was widely... discovered by the big-wave surfing community. Born in Redwood City, Clark moved with his family to Miramar Beach in Half Moon Bay when he was a young boy. He soon began surfing and seeking out bigger, stronger waves along the rugged Northern California coast. In the winter, Clark and his friends could see the large waves off Pillar Point breaking from the hillside of Half Moon Bay High School. After carefully studying the conditions, Clark paddled out at Maverick's at the age of 17, leaving behind his high school friend who declined the adventure and instead told Clark he would "call the Coast Guard and tell them where I last saw you." He surfed Maverick's alone for the next 15 years before he could get others to surf it with him . Since then, his name has become linked to Maverick's for his dedication to the spot without wave models or water patrol.

Roy Lee Williams is a former American college and professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League for nine seasons.... He played college football for the University of Oklahoma, and was an All-American. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys eighth overall in the 2002 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals. He earned five straight Pro Bowl selections from 2003 to 2007. Williams is currently a sideline reporter for Oklahoma football games. Williams was born in Redwood City, California. He played high school football for James Logan High School in Union City, California. Williams attended the University of Oklahoma, and played for the Oklahoma Sooners football team from 1999 to 2001. He was a starter on the undefeated 2000 Oklahoma Sooners team which won the National Championship, setting a school record for tackles for loss by a defensive back with 12.

Ross Aaron Malinger is an American actor who co-starred as Jonah Baldwin in the 1993 romantic film Sleepless In Seattle. He starred in the 1997... comedy Toothless, along with Kirstie Alley, portraying the second main character of the film. He starred with Kirstie Alley before that in the 1996 film Peter and the Wolf and played Adam Lippman, the Bar Mitzvah boy who liked Elaine's "Shiksa appeal", in the Seinfeld's episode "The Serenity Now". Malinger co-starred with Jean-Claude Van Damme in 1995 film Sudden Death. Though it was a box office flop, he earned $1.1 million, a contrast from Sleepless in Seattle for which he only earned $24,000 even though it launched his career. He provided the original voice of T.J. Detweiler on the animated series Recess. He did not reprise the role in the next seasons, as he got replaced by Andrew Lawrence. He was a recurring character on the Teen Drama Party of Five. He also provided the voice for the puppy Spike, Part of the 'Riley Gang' in Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco He starred with Shelley Long and Treat Williams on the CBS comedy Good Advice, which lasted two seasons, 1993 to 1994.

Ronnie Day is an American songwriter from Redwood City, California. In his sophomore year of high school, Day decided to drop out and pursue a... career in music. After testing for proficiency, he began teaching guitar lessons and with his first earnings, bought a laptop and a microphone. Nine Sleepless Nights, the album he would create, became the driving force behind a self-funded trip across the U.S. At the age of 16, Day drove coast to coast playing on street corners, in parks, backyards and living rooms. He rose to the top unsigned artist position on both Myspace and Purevolume's music charts, and sales of his bedroom-recordings skyrocketed. In 2006, on his 18th birthday, he signed with Epic Records, ending an industry-wide bidding war and has since shared the stage with acts such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Dashboard Confessional, The Plain White T's and Gym Class Heroes. He has toured the U.S. extensively, playing dates on The Warped Tour, Bamboozle, and MTV's Campus Invasion Tour.
