Albert Wesker is a character in the Resident Evil franchise. Although portrayed as a supporting character in the first game, he was later... established as the primary antagonist of the series; he usually manipulated story events behind-the-scenes and had a role in more games than the other main characters. The film version of Wesker is played by Jason O'Mara in Resident Evil: Extinction and Shawn Roberts in Resident Evil: Afterlife. Roberts will reprise the role of Wesker in Resident Evil: Retribution. Wesker made his first appearance as a non-playable character in the original Resident Evil game, assisting the player character against Lisa Trevor in the remake. In that game, he is the commanding officer of Alpha team of the Special Tactics And Rescue Service . It is eventually revealed that Wesker is a double agent working for the Umbrella Corporation; ordered by his superiors to lure the STARS into the Spencer mansion to be used as test subjects against the mutated creatures to gather battle data.

Jill Valentine is a fictional character in the Resident Evil survival horror series by Capcom. Jill is one of the two protagonists of the original... Resident Evil game, where she was introduced as a member of the Raccoon Police Department's Special Tactics And Rescue Service , trapped in a secret research complex of the sinister Umbrella Corporation. She returned as the protagonist in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, where she escapes Raccoon City following the zombie outbreak; in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, in which she and Chris Redfield raid Umbrella's Russian base; and in Resident Evil 5, as a founding member of the UN-funded paramilitary group Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance . The film version of Jill appears in Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Resident Evil: Afterlife, where she is played by Sienna Guillory, who confirmed recently that she will reprise her role as Jill in the next installment, Resident Evil: Retribution. During development of the original Resident Evil game, Jill was conceived as the physically weaker than the male protagonist Chris Redfield, but she was given more skills and weapons to compensate for this.

Christopher "Chris" Redfield is a fictional character from Capcom's Resident Evil series. Chris is one of the two main protagonists in the first... Resident Evil game, the other being Jill Valentine. Redfield returned as a playable character in Resident Evil Code: Veronica, where he must search for, and ultimately rescue, his younger sister, Claire. Chris returned again as the main protagonist in Resident Evil 5, where he works alongside partner Sheva Alomar to search for his old partner and friend, Jill Valentine. Chris is also playable in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, and will be appearing with Jill in the next installment of the main series; Resident Evil Revelations. The film version of Chris appears in Resident Evil: Afterlife. Hideki Kamiya described Chris as a "blunt, tough-guy type", admitting that he was a fan of this archetype. Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi said that the series' fans "would really love" a video game featuring both Chris and Leon S.
