Resident Evil Code: Veronica

Albert Wesker is a fictional character in the Resident Evil franchise. Created by Capcom, the character was introduced in the original Resident Evil... video game, and has since then made appearances in other titles and is also featured in the 2007 film Resident Evil: Extinction. The character is voiced by different voice actors in the games, most prominently Richard Waugh, and portrayed by Jason O'Mara in the film. Wesker has been effectively established as the primary antagonist in the Resident Evil series. Characterized as an amoral and megalomaniacal human being, Wesker is a Machiavellian type of villain, playing a major role in the events of the games and is the common connection between several characters, with a personal grudge against the protagonist Chris Redfield. IGN ranked Wesker #3 on their list of "10 Most Memorable Villains", claiming that "Res Evil fans know that whenever Wesker shows up, trouble isn't far behind." Wesker appears as a non-playable character in the original Resident Evil, assisting the player character. He is the commanding officer of Special Tactics And Rescue Squad and leader of the Alpha team.

Leon Scott Kennedy is a fictional video game character from the Resident Evil survival horror series. He is a protagonist in Resident Evil 2 and the... main protagonist of Resident Evil 4. During the events of Resident Evil 2, Leon is a new police officer who arrives in Raccoon City for his first day on the job, only to confront the T-virus outbreak first-hand. Six years later in Resident Evil 4, Leon returns as a secret agent for the US government, assigned to rescue the President's daughter. Leon was created by Hideki Kamiya as a contrast to the male protagonist of the original Resident Evil game, Chris Redfield, who Kamiya felt was the "blunt, tough-guy type". Though he admitted that while he was a fan of a character like Chris, as it had already been done, he opted to take Leon's development in a different direction. As a result he created Leon to have some degree of weakness, but "ultimately a man who was on the ball". He was surprised at how popular Leon had become, praising his evolution into a "cool looking guy" for Resident Evil 4, adding that he "fell in love all over again.

Claire Redfield is a fictional character appearing in the Resident Evil series of survival horror video games. A nineteen year old college student... and motorcyclist. She is the younger sister of S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield, the protagonist of the first game. She is the female protagonist of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica which follows her search for her missing brother. She is voiced by Canadian actress Alyson Court. Claire is the younger sister of Chris Redfield. Claire is really close with Chris and the two developed a bond with each other. At the age of 19, Claire is a college student who loves motorcycles. After hearing the news about the Mansion Incident in the Arklay Mountains, Claire drove to Raccoon City to see her brother. After their parents died in a car crash, it is unknown who took care of them, it can be presumed that Chris raised Claire all by himself due to him getting a job at 17 in the Air Force. Claire Redfield was originally known as Elza Walker, the female lead in the original version of Resident Evil 2.

Ada Wong is a recurring fictional video game character appearing in the Resident Evil video game series. A mysterious Asian woman, Ada is a cunning... and formidable secret agent. She is voiced by actress Sally Cahill in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4, and has also appeared in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. When she was first revealed in Resident Evil 4, her identity was unclear. When asked by IGN editors if Ada would appear in the game, Resident Evil 4 producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi stated that a mystery woman appears in the game. Ada is voiced by Sally Cahill in Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4 and The Darkside Chronicles, and by an uncredited actress in The Umbrella Chronicles. Cahill said that getting the part of Ada came from doing other voices for the company. I seemed to have the sexy sound they were looking for. The producer and creators were Japanese, and they seemed to respond to the tone of my voice , so they brought me in to read for Ada. I saw them nodding all their heads in the control room through the glass and that was that.

Eidos is also the name given by Aristotle to what was later to be discovered as the genetic code, the building blocks of life. Its best-known game series include Tomb Raider,... Hitman, Commandos, Deus Ex, Legacy of Kain, Thief, Timesplitters, and Fear Effect. The company maintains offices all around the world, including the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Australia and Japan. Eidos officially became part of Square Enix on 22 April 2009. Following a reorganization of Square Enix's European operations, Eidos is slated to be consolidated into a new branch, named Square Enix Europe. The Eidos Interactive brand will cease to be used for game publishing thereafter. Eidos plc, later to become the parent company of Eidos Interactive, was founded in 1990 as a company specialising in video compression and non-linear editing systems, particularly for Acorn Archimedes computers, and floated on the London Stock Exchange.

The company was originally jointly managed by Susumu Tanaka of Nintendo UK and Graham Kerry who worked prior as the general Manager of Mattel.. It is currently managed by Rose Lappin, who succeeded Seiji Tsukasa as Managing Director in October, 2007 . Rose Lappin has been working for Nintendo since the early 90's when Nintendo's products were distributed in Australia by Mattel. Aside from distributing its own products, the company also distributes some games for its systems by developers including Capcom and Atlus. Nintendo Australia distribute Nintendo's products to most of the Oceanic region. Distribution of Nintendo's products in New Zealand was handled by Monaco Corporation Ltd, then Softprint Interactive Ltd, until Softprint went into bankruptcy.
