Return to Never Land is a 2002 American animated film produced by DisneyToon Studios in Sydney, Australia and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is a sequel to the 1953 film Peter Pan, based on J.M. Barrie's most famous work Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. During the London Blitz of World War II in 1942 , Peter Pan's former playmate, Wendy Darling, has grown up and married, and has two children of her own: an 12-year-old daughter, Jane, and a 4-year-old son, Danny.
