The Harada House, built in 1884, and located at 3356 Lemon Street in Riverside, California, became the focus of an important court case testing... exclusionary legislation. The 1916-1918 case of California v. Harada was an early constitutional test of an alien land law in the United States. At issue was the right of the American-born children of Japanese immigrant Jukichi Harada to own the house. That right was upheld, setting precedent for related challenges to such laws. The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1990, and currently is overseen by the Riverside Metropolitan Museum.

UCR Soccer Stadium is a 900 seat soccer stadium on the campus of University of California, Riverside in Riverside, California. The fields where UCR... Soccer Stadium stands were the original home of the UC Riverside Highlanders men’s soccer team during its first incarnation from the 1950s to the early 1980s. It also served as the home to the UC Riverside Highlanders baseball team. Upon completion of the stadium, all 900 seats were located on the west-side of the stadium. The soccer team benches are located across the field on the east-side. UCR Soccer Stadium's field was replaced with TigerTurf artificial grass in the summer of 2007. UC Riverside officially dedicated the field on 28 August 2008. With the installation of the synthetic grass, the men's soccer and women's soccer teams are able to practice and play on the same field without causing damage as with natural grass. In the spring and summer of 2008, additional renovations were made to UCR Soccer Stadium. A state-of-the-art scoreboard was added and improvements to the lighting at the stadium were completed. With the lighting improvements, UC Riverside's soccer teams were able to host night games.

UC Riverside Student Recreation Center is a 3,168-seat, indoor multi-purpose stadium on the campus of the University of California, Riverside in... Riverside, California. UC Riverside Student Recreation Center was opened in January 1994, constructed entirely from student fees. Its purpose is to build students' physical fitness and recreation, as well to host UC Riverside Highlanders athletic teams. The 80,000 square feet structure seats up to 3,168 people. In the Summer of 2003, a new public address system and sound enhancing tiles were installed to improve fans' viewing and listening experience. An expansion plan for the Student Recreation Center includes tripling the size of the current fitness center, doubling the amount of multipurpose rooms, and adding a swimming pool complex to the facility. In addition to full locker rooms, 6,000 square feet weight training facility, and 3,000 square feet area dedicated to cardio-fitness machines, the Student Recreation Center has many different sporting courts for students to use. Some notable areas include the hardwood basketball court, four racquetball/wallyball courts, and one squash court.

The Riverside Sports Complex, in Riverside, California, is the home field of the University of California, Riverside baseball team. It is primarily... used for baseball and was the home of Riverside Pilots before they moved to Lancaster, California to become the Lancaster JetHawks in 1996. The stadium seats 2,500 and features a home team locker room personally built by Troy Percival, a UCR alum. The field was also the site of the NCAA Division II College World Series from 1980 to 1984. A statue of the UCR Bear in concrete just inside the entrance to the facility, was erected in 2007. The stadium also has a pair of hitting cages located underneath the grandstands.
