The RMIT University Library is the network of academic libraries at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. It has six... branches at RMIT's campuses in the Melbourne city centre, Bundoora and Brunswick. The RMIT City campus has three branches of the library. The Swanston Library is the largest branch of RMIT University Library. Located on the RMIT City campus in Swanston Street. In 2007 over 1 million people came through the doors an all time record. It is unique from the other campus libraries in that it is the only RMIT library site open till midnight during part of the semester. In 2009 Swanston Library is trialling extended hours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On July 27 2008 Swanston Library was named as one of "Five of the best libraries" in the Sunday Age M magazine. The reasons included "Like the sprawling campus itself, [Swanston Library] has nooks and crannies and, best of all, dedicated silent places" The collection strengths of the Business Library include marketing, finance, law, management, economics and accounting.
