Robinson José Canó Mercedes is a Dominican baseball player who currently plays as a second baseman for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2005. Canó is a three-time All-Star and Silver Slugger Award winner . He won a Gold Glove Award and has been named American League Player of the Month twice . In 2011, Canó won the Home Run Derby.
