The Lake-Peterson House, also known as Jenny's, is a Victorian Gothic Revival home in Rockford, Illinois, United States. The house was built in 1873,... probably by prominent Rockford citizen John Lake - its first owner, but its architect is unknown. The house is a significant example of Gothic Revival architecture and is considered one of the finest such homes in the U.S. state of Illinois. The Lake-Peterson House is owned and maintained by Swedish American Hospital in Rockford and stands adjacent to the main hospital complex along Business US 20 . The building and its carriage house were added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The Lake-Peterson House was built in 1873, most likely by its first owner, John Lake and stands in front of the main complex for Rockford's Swedish American Hospital along Business U.S. Route 20. Lake was an early and prominent citizen of Rockford as a party to partnerships in the lumber trade. He came to Rockford in 1837 and by the 1870s was one of the city's most important and wealthy citizens. Lake lived in the house until he died in 1907.

Brad M. Carlson , better known by the stage name Bun E. Carlos, is the primary drummer for American rock band Cheap Trick. He is the band's chief... setlister and archivist, and maintains recordings of all the band's shows, some of which have been released under the name 'Bun E's Bootlegs'. Carlos is left-handed, but has alternated between left and right-handed playing throughout his career. He has few writing credits, the most notable of which is the drum solo track "Who D'King", from the album All Shook Up and Bun E. in a Box , a drum sample CD. In the late 1990s Carlos introduced his own line of coffee. At one point he offered a Special Limited Edition hand-signed numbered bag of coffee. He continues to market the brand today. It was announced in early 2009 that Carlos had, together with Hanson singer Taylor Hanson, former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha and Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger, formed a new band called Tinted Windows. This new project ran alongside each of the artists' main bands. The band played its first publicized gig at SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 20, 2009. Their first album was released on April 21, 2009.

She currently lives in Gainesville in North Georgia with her husband, Ray Benson , and their son, McKinley , and daughter, Delaney . Benson has become well known in popular culture for providing the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid. She even parodied this later when she provided the voice for the character of Ann Darrow in The Mighty Kong - Ann sang and swam through the water with her hair flowing about her.

Stewart Brand is an American writer, best known as editor of the Whole Earth Catalog. He founded a number of organizations including The WELL, the... Global Business Network, and the Long Now Foundation. He is the author of several books, most recently Whole Earth Discipline: An Ecopragmatist Manifesto. Brand attended Phillips Exeter Academy, before studying biology at Stanford University, from which he graduated in 1960. He was married to Lois Jennings, an Ottawa Native American and mathematician. As a soldier in the U.S. Army, he was a parachutist and taught infantry skills; he was later to express the view that his experience in the military had fostered his competence in organizing. A civilian again, in 1962 he studied design at San Francisco Art Institute, photography at San Francisco State College, and participated in a legitimate scientific study of then-legal LSD, in Menlo Park, California. Brand has lived in California ever since. He and his wife, Ryan Phelan, live on Mirene, a 64-foot -long working tugboat. Built in 1912, the boat is moored in a former shipyard in Sausalito, California.

Among her other early television appearances were two episodes of the first season of Ironside . She also had a supporting role in Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows , the sequel to The Trouble with Angels.

He was brought up as a Roman Catholic and raised in Chicago and Rockford, Illinois, as well as in Dublin and Birr, County Offaly in Ireland. He made a short impressive contribution as Robert De Niros brother in The Mission. Edmund Viesturs is a high-altitude mountaineer. He is the first American to have climbed all fourteen of the world's eight-thousander mountain... peaks, and the fifth person to do so without using supplemental oxygen. He has summited peaks of over 8,000 meters on 21 occasions, including Mount Everest seven times; only two other climbers, Phurba Tashi Sherpa Mendewa and Juanito Oiarzabal, have more high-altitude ascents. Born of Latvian and German descent in Fort Wayne, Indiana and raised in Rockford, Illinois, Viesturs moved to Seattle, Washington in 1977 to attend the University of Washington. It was here that he began his mountaineering career on the slopes of Mount Rainier. Viesturs graduated from the University of Washington in 1981 with a BS in zoology and eventually became a guide for Rainier Mountaineering, Inc. He later obtained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University. His interest in the Himalayas was sparked in high school by reading Maurice Herzog's account of the first climb of Annapurna.

Tenitra Michelle Williams , commonly known as Michelle Williams, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. She is best known... for being a former member of the successful R&B girl group Destiny's Child, which has sold over 40 million records worldwide, and won a Grammy Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Joseph Mantello is an American actor and director best known for his work on Broadway productions of Wicked, Take Me Out and Assassins, as well as... earlier in his career being one of the original Broadway cast of Angels in America. Mantello directed The Ritz, his sixth production with playwright Terrence McNally, in 2007. Mantello was born in Rockford, Illinois and studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts; he started the Edge Theater in New York City with actress Mary-Louise Parker and writer Peter Hedges. He is a member of the Naked Angels theater company and an associate artist at the Roundabout Theatre Company. Mantello began his theatrical career as an actor in Keith Curran's Walking the Dead and Paula Vogel's The Baltimore Waltz. On the transition from acting to directing, Mantello said, "I think I've become a better actor since I started directing, although some people might disagree. Since I've been removed from the process I see things that actors fall into. Now there's a part of me that's removed from the process and can stand back.
