The Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design is in Lakewood, a suburb of Denver, Colorado, USA. The college was founded in 1963 by Philip J. Steele, an artist and teacher. RMCAD is a four-year, fully accredited college, with majors in Game Art, Communications Design, Animation, Interior Design, Illustration, Art Education, and Fine Arts, with concentrations in Photography + Video Art, Sculpture, and Painting. Beginning in Fall 2010, RMCAD also offers online programs in 3D Animation and Interior Design.
