Dr. Marna Cupp Whittington is the Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Executive Committees at Allianz Global Investors. She is the Managing... Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Member of Executive Committee at Nocholas-Applegate Capital Management LLC. Dr. Whittington joined the firm in 2001 and is responsible for management of all non-investment functions in the firm. She is also the Chief Operating Officer at Allianz Dresdner Asset Management since 2002. In 1992, she joined Philadelphia-based Miller Anderson & Sherrerd. From 1984 to 1992, Dr. Whittington was also the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the University of Pennsylvania. Earlier, she had been first, Budget Director, and later, Secretary of Finance for the State of Delaware. From 1996 until 2001, Dr. Whittington was the Chief Operating Officer at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Investment Management. Dr. Whittington has been a Director of Federated Department Stores Inc. since 1993 and is the also the Chairman of Audit Review Committee, Member of the Executive Committee, and Member of Finance Committee. She has been a Director of Rohm & Haas Co. since 1989. She is a Trustee at Salk Institute for Biological Studies and Middlebury College. Dr. Whittington obtained a B.A. degree from the University of Delaware and obtained a M.S. and Ph.D. Quantitative Methods from University of Pittsburgh.

George M. Whitesides is an American chemist and professor of chemistry at Harvard University. He is best known for his work in the areas of NMR... spectroscopy, organometallic chemistry, molecular self-assembly, soft lithography, microfabrication, microfluidics, and nanotechnology. Whitesides is also known for publishing his "outline system" for writing scientific papers. As of December 2011, he has the highest Hirsch index rating of all living chemists. Whitesides attended secondary school at Phillips Andover and graduated in 1957. He received his A.B. degree from Harvard College in 1960 and earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology in 1964. Under the tutelage of John D. Roberts, Whitesides' graduate work focused on the use of NMR spectroscopy in organic chemistry. Among other research endeavors, he studied spin-spin coupling in a variety of organic compounds and the structure of Grignard reagents in solution. Whitesides began his independent career as an assistant professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1963 and remained there until 1982.

Gary L. Rogers retired as Vice Chairman of General Electric Company in 2003. He is a member of the Board of Wyeth, Rohm & Haas Company and W.W.... Grainger Inc. He is also a Trustee of Florida State University Foundation.
