Rostov State University was the university in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. It was founded in 1915 as a successor to Warsaw Russian University . In 2006, according to the order of the Russian government it was merged with three other educational institutions of Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog to form Southern Federal University. As of 2005, RSU includes these departments: The department of military training is not a department in strict sense, it offers optional military training course for students from the other departments; now, according to the order of the Ministry of Defence no new students are... allowed and upon graduation of its last students it will be closed.
