Sabatino Piscitelli is an American football safety who is currently a Free Agent of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Oregon State. He has also played for the Cleveland Browns. Piscitelli began his football career at Boca Raton High School. He began playing as a junior in high school, playing both defensive back and wide receiver. Piscitelli received second team all-state honors as a senior. Piscitelli also received 4 letters as an outfielder for the school's baseball team.... Piscitelli redshirted his freshman season. Piscitelli backed up Lawrence Turner at strong safety and played in 13 games. Piscitelli recorded five solo tackles, one assist, one pass defensed, and one interception. Piscitelli became the starter at strong safety upon Turner's graduation. Piscitelli started all 12 games that season, recording 41 solo tackles, 13 assists, 4 tackled for loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 8 passes defensed, and 5 interceptions. For his efforts he garnered his first all PAC-10 honorable mention.
