Saluki

The Saluki has a slim, greyhound-like body with long feathering on the ears and tail. They have an unusual gait when they are at top speed: all four of their legs are in the air at the same time. The coat comes in black and tan, fawn, white, cream, gold and red, as well as various combinations of these. Some Salukis have a patch of white in the middle of the forehead. The ears are long and hanging and the neck is flexible. The feet are thickly haired between the toes for protection from rough terrain. Height: 23-28 inches Weight: 29-66 pounds dogbreedinfo.
