Sammamish is an Eastside suburb of Seattle in King County, Washington, United States. It was incorporated in 1999. The population was 45,780 at the 2010 census. In CNN Money's 2011 review of the best places to live in the United States, Sammamish was honored with the 15th place. The Sammamish Plateau was part of unincorporated King County for most of its recorded history. The first Europeans arrived in the late 19th century and established a trio of resorts by the 1930s.
