Suwon is the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. A major city of over a million inhabitants, Suwon lies approximately 30 kilometres south of Seoul. Suwon is known domestically as a footballing city. Suwon Samsung Bluewings Football Club has won the K-league on four occasions and AFC Champions League for two occasions.
