The Estádio Alfredo Schürig most commonly known as Estádio Parque São Jorge, or Fazendinha, is a football stadium inaugurated on... July 22, 1928 in São Paulo, Brazil, with a maximum capacity of 13,969 people. The stadium is owned by Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. Its formal name honors Alfredo Schürig, who was president of Corinthians from 1931 to 1933. Fazendinha means Little Farm. The stadium was inaugurated on July 22, 1928, and became the home ground of Corinthians in the beginning of the 1940s, when Estádio do Pacaembu was built. In 1963, the stadium was one of the 1963 Pan American Games venues, hosted in São Paulo city. During the Pan American Games, the Brazilian national team beat the American counterparts 10-0. Due to Fazendinha's low capacity, Corinthians has been playing in Pacaembu Stadium since the 1950s. During a short time, Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil matches were again played at the stadium as result of a reformation done in 1992 that grew its capacity. The inaugural match was played on July 22, 1928, when Corinthians and América drew 2-2. The first goal of the stadium was scored by Corinthians' De Maria.

Estádio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo is a stadium in São Paulo, Brazil, home of São Paulo Futebol Clube and its formal name honors... Cícero Pompeu de Toledo, who was São Paulo FC's chairman during most of the stadium construction, and died before its inauguration. The stadium was designed by the architect João Batista Vilanova Artigas. It is also a football venue of the 2016 Summer Olympics. In the early years of its existence, São Paulo FC used for their headquarters and home field the Finca Forest, located beside the Bridge of Flags next to Tietê river in the center of São Paulo. This is why their home is referred to as the São Paulo da Floresta during the club's first incarnation, from January 1930 until May 1935. When the club was refounded in December 1935, it had its own field until 1938, when the union with Estudantes Paulista gave São Paulo possession of the Bristol stadium belonging to Antarctica. In 1944, São Paulo bought a piece of ground called Canindé, which was only used as a headquarters and training location. The area was too small for the construction of a large stadium, so studies were done to find another home within the city of São Paulo.

Nanette Konig, born Nanette Blitz, is best known for her friendship with diarist Anne Frank. Nanny was a friend of Anne from the Jewish Lyceum. At... some point of the Second World War, Nanny and her family was arrested, sent to the Westerbork transit camp, and eventually deported to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where she was briefly reunited with Anne. Nanny survived the war, and stayed in a sanatorium of Belsen for three years. She continued her education in the Sanatorium. Nanny was reunited with Anne's father, Otto Frank, who was very kind to her. After the war, Nanny completed a secretarial course in the United Kingdom, and got a job in merchant bank of London. She married John Frederick Konig, and they had three children: Elizabeth, Judith and Martin. Nanny and her family reside in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Hélio Castroneves is a Brazilian auto racing driver currently competing in the North American IndyCar Series. In IndyCar competition,... Castroneves has 14 wins and 28 poles, and has never placed lower than sixth in the standings in a complete season of racing. Prior to IndyCar, Castroneves competed in the CART championship with a highest championship points finish of fourth. Castroneves won the Indianapolis 500 in 2001, 2002 and 2009, making him one of only nine drivers to date to have won at least three. He finished second to teammate and countryman Gil de Ferran in 2003. Castroneves has won four pole positions for the Indy 500, including back-to-back poles in 2009 and 2010 for the first time since Scott Brayton. His two sisters, Márcia and Silvinha, graduated in theater and psychology, respectively.

She joined the cast of a reality show based loosely on the Dutch Big Brother, dubbed Casa dos Artistas, in which famous people were locked together in a house and then gradually voted out. It was on Casa dos Artistas that Ellen met her current fiancé, Brazilian actor Ricardo Macchi. The couple started dating while locked in the house and got engaged on 2007, on Bariloche, Argentina. Ellen Roche was also featured on the Dream Girl Cam, for the Venice Online website and played a Brazilian version of the Lara Croft character, to promote the game Tomb Raider III The Lost Artifact in Brazil.
