Jayde Nicole is a Canadian model. She was Playboy′s Playmate of the Month for January 2007 and was named the 2008 Playmate of the Year in the... June issue of the men's magazine. She is the first Canadian Playmate of the Year in 26 years, and the third overall, the previous two being Dorothy Stratten and Shannon Tweed. Nicole began modeling for catalogs and fashion shows at the age of six. The following year, Nicole's family moved from Scarborough to Port Perry. When she turned 11, she stopped modeling for a time, as she was finding herself becoming "too mature to be doing kid's jobs." When she was 15, a scout from a Toronto modeling agency spotted her outside the Air Canada Centre as she was leaving a concert and offered her an opportunity to return to modeling. Since then, Nicole has appeared in numerous publications and fashion shows. She created and owns her own agency, "A Touch of Class", based in Port Perry. Nicole studied hotel management at George Brown College in Toronto, but dropped out to pursue a modeling career. Her mother handed Nicole her first issue of Playboy and suggested she pose for the magazine.

Deryck Jason Whibley is a Canadian musician and producer, best known for his work as the guitarist, lead vocalist, songwriter and producer of the... Juno Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated rock band Sum 41. Whibley married fellow singer Avril Lavigne in 2006. The couple occasionally performed together, and they have spoken about their relationship in interviews. It was announced on September 17, 2009 that Lavigne and Whibley separated. Lavigne initiated divorce proceedings in October 2009 claiming irreconcilable differences. Besides Sum 41, Whibley developed a professional career in the music industry as producer and manager. Deryck was part of Bunk Rock Music, a music management and production company. He produced for No Warning with the company as well. Since parting ways with Greig Nori, he sold his part of the company in early 2005. During the Sum 41 hiatus in 2005 and 2006, he worked with Tommy Lee on guitar and backing vocals for his album, Tommyland: The Ride, and A Million in Prizes: The Anthology with Iggy Pop. He worked as the producer of We Have an Emergency, the debut album by Sum 41 co-member Cone McCaslin's side project The Operation M.D..

Paul Tracy is a professional automobile racer who has competed in CART, the ChampCar World Series and the IndyCar Series. He is nicknamed "PT" and... also goes by the nickname "The Thrill from West Hill". Fascinated by cars since boyhood, Paul raced go-karts at Goodwood Kartways near his hometown until he was 16. At age 16, in 1985, he became the youngest ever Canadian Formula Ford Champion. He was also the winner of the last Can-Am race at the age of 17; in that same race he achieved the record of the youngest winner in Can-Am history. Tracy worked his way up through the North American open-wheel feeder series' culminating with winning the 1990 American Racing Series Championship, and in the process set a record for single season wins with nine. The following year, he competed in his first IndyCar event at Long Beach and at mid-season became a test driver for Penske Racing, in his first race for the team at Michigan he crashed and broke his left leg. He recovered and raced twice more for the team at the end of the season.

Kathryn "Kathy" Greenwood is a Canadian actress and comedienne. She appeared on the American version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? numerous times, and... played Grace Bailey on the Canadian television drama series Wind at My Back. Kathy Greenwood was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, and it was clear from an early age she wanted to be a performer; by the time she was in high school at Agincourt Collegiate Institute, she was usually the star of the school plays and concerts. When it came time to graduate in 1980, she feared that she would never get to act again, until a concerned friend gave her a brochure for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where Greenwood spent the next two years studying acting. In 1987, when she returned to Canada in Toronto, she managed to find work for a small night club act called A Wedge of Night, which led to her five year stint with the Toronto branch of the famous Second City comedy troupe; where she served as both a writer and a performer - two of her shows won Dora Mavor Moore awards in 1988, and 1992.

Lawrence Thomas Murphy is a former Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He currently serves as an analyst and sideline reporter for the... Detroit Red Wings on Fox Sports Detroit, and a studio analyst on NHL Network. After a stellar junior career with the Peterborough Petes and representing Canada at the 1980 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, Murphy was drafted 4th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. In the 1980–81 NHL season, he set National Hockey League records for most assists and points by a rookie defenceman, with 60 and 76 respectively. He was eventually traded to the Washington Capitals for defencemen Brian Engblom and Ken Houston early in the 1983-84 season, which did not work out in the Kings favor long-term because of Murphy's prolonged success in the league. In his 21-season career , Murphy would eventually play for six different NHL teams. In addition to the Kings and Capitals, he also suited up for the Minnesota North Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Detroit Red Wings.

James Raymond Creeggan, better known as Jim Creeggan , is the bassist for Canadian band Barenaked Ladies . His most used double bass is named... "Grammah", after the Ladies' tour manager nicknamed him "Grampah" for always complaining and not wanting to get up. Creeggan's mother taught piano lessons to neighborhood children, which Creeggan credits as part of the reason for his interest in music. Creeggan has played the double bass since he was in school. He was a member of a variety of school bands, as well as local youth symphony groups. He also attended the University of Toronto for bass performance, though he did not complete a degree. Creeggan, along with his brother Andy, was invited to play with Ed Robertson and Steven Page at a Christmastime show in Toronto, and the pair was asked to join the band permanently. Creeggan has been with the band ever since, while his brother left the band in 1995. He and Andy formed a group together named The Brothers Creeggan before Andy left BNL. They continued to play following his departure, and went on a hiatus in the early 2000s.
