School of Comedy is a British comedy sketch show written and performed by a cast of teenagers. A television spin-off of a revue performed in London and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, School of Comedy was piloted on Channel 4's Comedy Lab in 2008, before a six-part series ran on E4 from 2 October to 5 November 2009. A behind-the-scenes special entitled School of Comedy: Extra Lessons was broadcast in the same timeslot on 11 November. The characters vary from an extremely rude landlady to an Eastern European plumber . Other recurring characters include a garrulous taxi driver and an estate... agent . Some clips adapted from the stage production were shown on Comedy Shuffle, which broadcast on BBC Three in 2007 and 2008. The second series began on E4 from 13 September 2010.
