Taliesin West was architect Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and school in the desert from 1937 until his death in 1959 at the age of 91. Today it is... the main campus of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture and houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Open to the public for tours, Taliesin West is located on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. The complex drew its name from Wright's summer home, Taliesin, in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Wright and the Taliesin Fellowship began to "trek" to Arizona each winter in 1933. In 1937 Wright purchased the plot of desert land that would soon become Taliesin West. He paid “$3.50 an acre on a southern slope of the McDowell Range overlooking Paradise Valley outside Scottsdale.” Wright believed this to be the perfect spot for such a building, a place of residence, a place of business and a place to learn. Wright described it like this, “Finally I learned of a site twenty-six miles from Phoenix, across the desert of the vast Paradise Valley. On up to a great mesa in the mountains. Sandra Bernhard is an American comedian, singer, actress and author. She first gained attention in the late 1970s with her stand-up comedy in which... she often bitterly critiques celebrity culture and political figures. Bernhard is number 97 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 greatest standups of all time. Bernhard has often addressed her childhood in interviews and within the context of her stand-up comedy. She was born in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Jeanette and Jerome Bernhard. She has three older brothers. Her family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, when she was 10. Of her Jewish family, Bernhard stated in her show Without You I'm Nothing: "My father was a proctologist and my mother was an abstract artist, so that's how I view the world." In the documentary program Girls Who Do: Comedy, she discusses being a funny teenager. After graduating from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, she went to live on a kibbutz in Israel. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19. During that time she made ends meet working as a manicurist in a high-end salon. Bernhard became a popular staple at The Comedy Store.

Kirby Puckett was a Major League Baseball center fielder. He played his entire 12-year baseball career with the Minnesota Twins and he is the Twins... franchise's all-time leader in career hits, runs, doubles, and total bases. At the time of his retirement, his .318 career batting average was the highest by any right-handed American League batter since Joe DiMaggio. Puckett was the fourth baseball player during the 20th century to record 1,000 hits in his first five full calendar years in Major League Baseball, and was the second to record 2,000 hits during his first ten full calendar years. After being forced to retire at age 35 due to loss of vision in one eye from a central retinal vein occlusion, Puckett was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 in his first year of eligibility. Puckett was born and raised in Robert Taylor Homes, a housing project on Chicago's South Side , before attending and playing baseball for Calumet High School.

Robert Edward "Bob" Crane was an American actor and disc jockey, best known for his performance as Colonel Robert E. Hogan in the television sitcom... Hogan's Heroes from 1965 to 1971, and for his 1978 murder, which remains officially unsolved. Bob Crane was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, but he spent his childhood and teenage years in Stamford, Connecticut. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1946. Music was important to Crane, and he started playing drums early in life. By junior high, he was organizing local drum and bugle parades with his neighborhood friends in Stamford. Later, he became very involved in his high school marching and jazz bands, as well as in the school’s orchestra. He also played for the Connecticut Symphony and the Norwalk Symphony Orchestras as part of the youth orchestra program. On June 21, 1948, Bob enlisted in the National Guard and was honorably discharged on May 1, 1950. In 1949, he married high school sweetheart Anne Terzian, and they raised three children - Robert David, Deborah Ann, and Karen Leslie. In 1950, Crane started his broadcasting career at WLEA in Hornell, New York.

Francisco "Frankie" Muniz IV is an American actor, musician, writer, producer, and racecar driver. He is known primarily as the star of the FOX... television family sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. In 2003, he was considered "one of Hollywood's most bankable teens". In 2008, he put his acting career on hold to pursue an open wheel racing career. He competed in the Atlantic Championship. In 2010, he joined the band "You Hang Up" as the drummer. Fox premiered Malcolm in the Middle on January 9, 2000, as a mid-season replacement, and the show was quickly overcome with accolades. The premiere episode was watched by 23 million people and the second episode by 26 million. Muniz anchored the show with his narration and central role in many of the series' plots, although he has said that he does not consider himself a comic actor and does not find himself loved. He was nominated for the Emmy Awards in 2001, and was honored with the Hollywood Reporter "Young Star Award" for his work in the series. Throughout his television career, Muniz made guest appearances on the shows Lizzie McGuire, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, and MADtv.

Gabrielle Anne Carteris is an American actress known for her role as Andrea Zuckerman on the early seasons of the 1990s television series Beverly... Hills, 90210. Carteris was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, the daughter of Marlene, a realtor, and Ernest Carteris, a restaurant owner of Greek ancestry. She has a twin brother, James. Her parents separated six months after her birth. Carteris's mother moved with her children to San Francisco, California, where she set up a children's clothing store. While attending high school in Marin County, California, Carteris took an interest in the arts, studying ballet and performing as a mime on a European tour at 16 years old. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. Carteris is Jewish. She married Charles Isaacs, a stock broker, in 1992, and has two daughters with him named Kelsey and Mollie. In the March 17, 2008 issue of People magazine, Carteris described an injury suffered while filming a TV movie in Vancouver, Canada, in 2006 that partially paralyzed her face and affected her speech for over six months.

David Wayne Spade is an American actor, comedian and television personality who first became famous in the 1990s as a cast member on Saturday Night... Live, and from 1997 until 2003 when he starred as Dennis Finch on Just Shoot Me!. He also starred as C.J. Barnes, along with Katey Sagal, James Garner and Kaley Cuoco on 8 Simple Rules. He currently stars as Russell Dunbar on the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement. He is also working with TBS on an animated series based on his film Joe Dirt. Spade was born in Birmingham, Michigan, the son of Judith M, a writer and magazine editor, and Sam Spade, a sales representative. His brothers are Bryan and Andy Spade; Andy Spade is the husband of designer Kate Spade and CEO of Kate Spade New York. Spade attended Scottsdale Community College and briefly went on to Arizona State University, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Spade performed standup at the university's long-running sketch comedy show, Farce Side Comedy Hour, on numerous occasions. In the mid-80s he also did standup in the Monday night comedy show at Greasy Tony's Pizza in Tempe, Arizona.

Andrew Scott Walter is a former American football quarterback in National Football League. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round... of the 2005 NFL Draft after playing college football at Arizona State. He was also a member of the New England Patriots. Walter attended Grand Junction High School in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he was an all-conference selection as a junior and senior and a USA Today honorable mention All-American. Walter's redshirt freshman season at Arizona State University saw limited playing time behind sophomore starter Jeff Krohn, including reserve duty in a losing effort against the University of Oregon. After a 4–7 record under new head coach Dirk Koetter and only one win in the Pacific 10 Conference, Krohn transferred out of ASU following the season. With an opening at quarterback, Walter seemed to be the favorite going in to the season to start. This turned out not to be the case, however, when Walter was kept as the backup after redshirt freshman, Chad Christiansen, had impressive spring and fall practices. In September 2002 the Sun Devils fell behind the San Diego State University Aztecs 22-0.

Brady James Monson Corbet is an American actor. Corbet is known for playing Mason Freeland in the film Thirteen, Brian Lackey in the film Mysterious... Skin, Alan Tracy in the 2004 film Thunderbirds, and Peter in the 2008 film Funny Games. He has made guest appearances on many American television shows. His most recent television role was in Fox TV's award winning drama series 24, playing Derek Huxley, the son of Jack Bauer's new girlfriend. Brady appeared in the first six episodes of the fifth season. Corbet began an acting career at age ten with a guest spot in an April 2000 episode of CBS' The King of Queens, and he followed it up with voice work in the English version of the Japanese anime series NieA under 7. Over the next few years, he was a regular on another anime series, I My Me! Strawberry Eggs , and he guest-starred in a May 2002 episode of the WB sitcom Greetings from Tucson. He also appeared in a May 2003 episode of Fox’s sitcom Oliver Beene.

Katie Lohmann is a model, actress, and most notably a Playboy Playmate for the Month for April 2001. Her first appearance in Playboy was in the... Playmate 2000 search pictorial, published in the December 1999 issue. In that pictorial, she was described as a 19 year old massage therapist. In November 2006, Lohmann was part of a trio of Playmates who appeared in the "Celebrity Playmate Gift Guide" pictorial of Splat magazine, a paintball enthusiasts magazine. The pictorial showcased new paintball products for the 2006 holiday season. Lohmann appeared as "Hardbody" of the month in Iron Man magazine several times, including a pictorial together with frequent collaborator Karen McDougal in the November 2009 issue.

Brian L. Friedman, is an American dancer and choreographer, and has created the choreography for many popular music artists - such as Britney... Spears, Beyoncé Knowles and Mariah Carey - as well as for music videos, concert tours and television and film productions. He currently appears as creative director on the The X Factor USA. Friedman was born in Highland Park, Illinois, United States. He is Jewish. He began dancing at the age of 11 in his hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona, and appeared in various dance shows including Newsies, and Kids Incorporated. By the age of 16, he was responsible for his own dance studio. Friedman trained under Joe Tremaine, Kenny Ortega, Vince Patterson, and Twyla Tharp. As a young dancer, Friedman worked with such artists as Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Celine Dion, Melissa Etheridge, Salt N Pepa, and Patti LaBelle. He has been credited for providing choreography for films such as Charlie’s Angels and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, among others. Friedman also appeared in a singing group, "Blessed With Soul", along with Brittany Murphy, but left to pursue a career in dance.

In 1997, she moved to Los Angeles and, in 2001, her mother met with an agent leading to bookings for jobs including commercials for Oil of Olay. She also did two commercials for Pringles which gave her the nickname the "Pringles Girl". Hanratty released her first single "Finally a Teen" on the popular sharing-website YouTube. Hanratty has appeared in several films and television series including the 2006 television movie Hello Sister, Goodbye Life, opposite Lacey Chabert.
