The Self-portrait is a 1504–1506 painting by Raphael, now held in the Uffizi. It measures 47.5 cm by 33 cm. In early 2011 two slightly different copies of the painting became known - there was a debate over which was the real painting but it was concluded that they are both possibly from Raphael's hand. It is first acknowledged in art history in 1631 when it was in the Ducal Collection in Urbino. In 1890 it is first noted as being in the Uffizi gallery, where it has remained since.
