Shrek 2

Andrew Ralph Adamson, MNZM is a New Zealand film director, producer and screenwriter based mainly in Los Angeles, where he made the blockbuster animation films, Shrek and Shrek 2 for which he received an Academy Award nomination. He was director, executive producer, and scriptwriter for C. S.... Lewis' The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Shooting took place in New Zealand, primarily in and around Auckland, but also in South Island where much of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed. He also worked on the movies Batman Forever and Batman & Robin as a visual effects supervisor. He was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2006 Queen's Birthday Honours List. Adamson's parents were a homemaker and a computer engineer. Born in New Zealand, Adamson moved to Papua New Guinea with his parents aged eleven, and he returned to Auckland aged eighteen. When twenty-four, he moved to San Francisco, and divided time between there and Los Angeles. Since making the Narnia films, he has settled back in New Zealand. Adamson has two daughters.

Kelly Adam Asbury is an American film director, screenwriter, voice actor, published children's book author/illustrator, and non-fiction author/historian. He attended Lamar University for two years before, in 1980, transferring to the renowned California Institute of the Arts, where he studied... animation and filmmaking. He is known for being an artist in a variety of capacities on many animated movies and directed the two Academy Award nominated feature films Shrek 2 and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron . In addition to directing, Asbury provided some of the extra voices in Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third. He has written a non-fiction book entitled Dummy Days, which is a biography of five 20th century ventriloquists. He recently co-wrote and directed the popular animated movie entitled Gnomeo and Juliet , for which he also provided the voices of the tiny Red Goon Gnomes. He was recently nominated for two Annie Awards for directing and co-writing that film.

Conrad Vernon IV is an American director, writer, and voice actor, best known for his work on the DreamWorks animated film series Shrek as well as other films such as Monsters vs. Aliens. Vernon, a native of Lubbock, Texas, studied at CalArts and worked as a storyboard artist on Ralph Bakshi's... Cool World, 2 Stupid Dogs, Rocko's Modern Life, Nightmare Ned, Morto the Magician, and Shrek; additionally, he directed Shrek 2. He also worked in the same capacity on Antz. After Antz proved a success as the first animated feature film to be produced by DreamWorks Animation, Vernon signed on as a writer for Shrek, where he was responsible for the Gingerbread Man, and eventually voiced that character. He also appeared in Shrek 4-D and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. He voiced Mason the chimpanzee for the DreamWorks Animation films Madagascar and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and its television series . Additionally, he provided the voice for Insectosaurus and directed the 3D animated film, Monsters vs. Aliens. Vernon will also be the producer of the upcoming The Annoying Orange TV series.
