Sidney R. Rice is an American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played collegiately for the University of South Carolina. Rice was born to Ida Coleman in Gaffney, South Carolina. Rice has two older brothers, Jarvis Rice and Tremell Austin.
