Grandma Prisbrey's Bottle Village, also known as Bottle Village, is a folk art piece, located in Simi Valley, California. This assemblage is one of... California's Twentieth Century Folk Art Environments. In 1956, Tressa Prisbrey, then 59 years old, started building a "village" of shrines, walkways, sculptures, and buildings from recycled items and discards from the local landfill. She worked for 25 years creating one structure after another to house her collections. Bottle Village is California Historical Landmark number 939. It is also a Ventura County Cultural Landmark, and has historic designation from the City of Simi Valley. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It was officially closed in 1984 and severely damaged during the 1994 Northridge earthquake. As of 2011 it is maintained by the Preserve Bottle Village committee and is open to the public by appointment. In 1956 Tressa "Grandma" Prisbrey and her husband Al Prisbrey purchased one-third of an acre on Cochran Street. In an attempt to permanently "ground" her and her husband Grandma Prisbrey leveled the land, parked her trailer and removed the trailer's wheels and hid them.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Center for Public Affairs is the presidential library and final resting place of Ronald Wilson Reagan, the... 40th President of the United States. Designed by Hugh Stubbins and Associates, the library is located in Simi Valley, California, about 40 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles and 15 miles west of Chatsworth. The library may be accessed by driving to the Olsen Road exit of State Route 23, which connects to the nearby Ronald Reagan Freeway, State Route 118. The Reagan Library is the largest of the twelve federally operated presidential libraries. The street address, 40 Presidential Drive, is numbered in honor of Reagan's place as the 40th President. Construction of the library began in 1988, and the center was dedicated on November 4, 1991. The dedication ceremonies were the first time in United States history that five United States Presidents gathered together in the same place: Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush. Six First Ladies also attended: Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, Betty Ford, Rosalynn Carter, Nancy Reagan, and Barbara Bush.

Mickey Jones is an American musician and actor. Jones was born in Houston, Texas, the son of Frances Marie and Fred Edward Jones. Jones' career as... a drummer had him backing up such artists as Trini Lopez, Johnny Rivers and Bob Dylan on his world tour in 1966. In 1966, he was the drummer backing Bob Dylan on his world tour, replacing Levon Helm, with the other members of what would become The Band. This tour included the infamous bootlegged "Royal Albert Hall" concert. Later Jones joined the band The First Edition with Kenny Rogers and recorded several international hits. After the break-up of The First Edition in 1975, Jones concentrated his career as a character actor where he has made dozens of appearances in films and television. Jones starred in the short lived 1980 spin-off television series Flo as Chester. He played Chris Farber in the mini series V. Jones also had a recurring role on the television show Home Improvement. Commonly mistaken for fellow character actor Dennis Burkley.
