Roger LaVerne Smith is an American television and film actor and screenwriter. He starred in the television detective series 77 Sunset Strip. He is... married to the actress Ann-Margret. A debonair and handsome leading man in his youth, Smith was born in South Gate, California, the son of Dallas and Leone Smith. When he was six, his parents enrolled him into a stage school; there he took singing, dancing and elocution lessons. He was educated at the University of Arizona at Tucson on a football scholarship. He won several amateur talent prizes as a singer and guitarist. Smith served with the Naval Reserve in Hawaii. After a chance meeting with the actor James Cagney, he was encouraged to try a career in Hollywood. He would later play Cagney's son in Man of a Thousand Faces. Smith signed with Columbia Pictures in 1957 and made several films, then moved to Warner Bros. in 1959. His greatest film exposure came with playing the adult nephew Patrick Dennis in Auntie Mame, with Rosalind Russell in the title role.

Joyce Arleen Auger was an American soprano singer, admired for her coloratura voice and interpretations of works by Bach, Handel, Haydn,... Monteverdi, Gluck, and Mozart. Auger was born in South Gate, California and lived in Hartsdale, New York. She learned piano and violin as a child. She received a BA in Education from California State University at Long Beach in 1963, and her first job was as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. Between 1965-67, she studied voice with tenor Ralph Errolle in Evanston, Illinois, and began her professional singing career after winning the I. Viktor Fuchs Vocal Competition in Los Angeles in 1967, which brought her some singing engagements and airfare to Vienna; she also appeared with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at this time. She was signed by the Vienna Staatsoper soon after her arrival there despite her lack of knowledge of the German language, after impressing Josef Krips, remaining with the company for seven years. Her debut was in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte under Krips. She made her American debut with the same opera in 1969, with the New York City Opera.

Walter Perez is an American film, television actor and musician. He is best known for his role in Fame. Walter Perez was born in South Gate,... California and is of Mexican descent. He started performing when he was seven years old as a flamenco dancer in elementary school recitals. At a young age Walter had a passion for acting, he directed and played the lead role in many of his homemade movies. In these movies he would often impersonate his idol Charlie Chaplin. His working-class parents were unable to afford resources that would help him get into the entertainment industry. He decided to join Colors United, a performing arts group for inner-city high school students. This group helps under-privileged students expose their hidden talents in singing, acting, and dancing to people in the entertainment industry. Walter danced, sang, and acted in the group for three years. Walter attended Cal State Fullerton for four years, where he studied and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Walter has been a professional actor since 2002; he has had many guest roles on notable television series.
