St. Joseph

St. Joseph is a city in Stearns County, Minnesota, United States. The town began as a German settlement in 1854, and officially became a city in 1890. The population was 6,534 at the 2010 census. It is home to the College of Saint Benedict. St. Joseph is part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.9 square miles , all of it land. One of the city's major landmarks is The College of St. Benedict.
