St. Peter is a city in Nicollet County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 11,196 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Nicollet County. St. Peter is part of the Mankato–North Mankato Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.6 square miles , of which, 5.4 square miles of it is land and 0.1 square miles of it is water.
